🐴 SHOW JUMP COURSE HIRE CONDITIONS OF USE 🏇

Please read and follow all conditions to ensure the safety of horses, riders and equipment. Thank you for your cooperation! 😊

1. 🔢 The course must be jumped as numbered. Do not jump any fence in the wrong direction. Wings must not be moved, except as permitted below.

2. ↔️ Spreads may be adjusted, but NOT to affect related distances.

3. 📏 Jump heights may be adjusted.

4. 🪶 All empty cups must be removed from wings.

5. ⚠️ All breakages must be reported to the office and paid for.

6. ⚫ Black cups are fitted to all back elements of spreads and MUST NOT be changed.

7. 🚫 Jump poles must NOT be used as placing poles or trot poles on the ground at any time. If you need these, please ask in the office.

8. 💩 Arenas must be left clear of all droppings. Please ensure you clean up after your horse.

9. 🙋 If in any doubt about how to use the equipment, PLEASE ASK IN THE OFFICE.

10. 🛠️ ALL cups must be used correctly. ALL poles must be freely moveable on cups.

Payment Details & Event Fees

Bookings in advance using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to West Wilts EC. You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.

Breakages to be paid for.
£25.00 per half hour up to 2 horses additional horses at £12.00 each.

 

Withdrawals/Refunds
  • The booking fee is non-refundable in all cases.
  • Clinics – no refunds if cancelled within 7 days unless directly replaced, then cost refunded less £3.00 admin fee.
  • Arena Hire – we operate a 48hr cancellation policy. After this time no refund or transfer can be made unless directly replaced, then cost refunded less £3.00 admin fee.

💻 All entries and payments must be made online.

🦠 Infectious Disease Precautions

  • All horses must not be under current investigation for infectious diseases, including (but not limited to) Equine Herpes Virus (EHV), Equine Influenza or Strangles.
  • Horses must not have been in contact with, or be kept on the same premises as, a horse known to have or be under investigation for the neurological form of EHV, Equine Influenza, Strangles or Equine Viral Arteritis.

📋 Health & Safety Guidelines

  • All activities will be conducted in accordance with advice from the relevant national body.
  • Any social distancing guidelines must always be adhered to.

⚠️ Horse & Pony Safety

  • Horses/ponies must NOT be left tied up outside unattended.
  • 🚛 Please do not park in front of or block access to the loading bay.

🔢 Rider Numbers & Times

  • Please print/make your own allocated rider number or use your number discs.
  • Numbers will be allocated with times.
  • Your number must be worn at all times and must be easily readable.
  • ⏰ You are expected to ride at your allocated times. Failure to do so may result in being unable to compete.

🏇 Warm-Up & Competition Arenas

  • No spectators or filming are allowed in any warm-up or competition arenas. Please use the designated viewing areas.
  • Warm-up time may be limited to an estimated 30–40 minutes, depending on the number of horses permitted in the arena.

🧹 Lorry Park

- Please clear up any droppings or hay in the lorry park.

🐕 Dogs

  • Dogs are welcome but MUST be kept on a short lead at all times and all dog poo MUST be bagged and binned.
  • 🚫 No exceptions.

Although every effort will be made to ensure the safety of all participants, horse riding is a very high-risk sport. West Wilts Equestrian Centre and its staff cannot accept responsibility for any accident, damage or injury to horses, owners, other persons or property.
