Show Information
Susan Ridley — Test Riding Coach & BD List 4 Judge
Susan Ridley (formerly Bullock) has been a familiar face in the Midlands dressage scene for over a decade, judging locally for around ten years and currently officiating as a BD List 4 Judge, eligible to judge up to Elementary level.

A lifelong amateur rider, Susan has competed with both BRC and BD, individually and as part of teams. She has collected sashes across multiple BRC disciplines — eventing, dressage, style jumping, and Dressage to Music — and within BD has represented her region at the Inter Regionals and Home Nations, as well as riding at Area Festivals, Regionals, and Nationals.

Her proudest moment remains the day she buttoned up her tailcoat and rode PSG on her heart horse Ernie, the part bred Welsh who made the dream possible.

Susan first stepped into judging to give something back to the sport she loves, and to deepen her understanding of good riding and good training. Her coaching and judging style is rooted in clarity, kindness, and genuine enthusiasm for horses who try.

Her aim is simple:
to encourage riders to enjoy this wonderfully addictive sport, understand what judges are looking for, and always feel inspired to have another go.

Riders can use our members arena (known as the Fourth arena) up to 30 minutes before their time slot to warm up. They will then ride their chosen test in front of the judge before discussing where they could improve accuracy and gain extra marks. They will then have a second chance to ride the test and compare scores.
Aimed at those riding unaffiliated dressage and diddy.

Payment Details & Event Fees
