Classes open to non-members - Classes 1 to 4 £10.00 per class - All other classes £12.00 per class

CLASSES 

A maximum of TWO competitive classes can be entered on any one day per horse and rider combination.

Once a class has commenced jumping, no further entries will be accepted for the class with the exception of H/C entries.

 

 

For classes 5 to 11 inclusive there will be an optional “Challenge Fence” built after the finish and built bigger than the height of the respective class – if successfully jumped the competitor will receive an additional award. The Challenge Fence is not however part of the singe phase course (i.e. optional).

For classes 5 to 11 inclusive heights will be as per schedule and not raised in the second part of the course (i.e. all level heights).

 

Payment Details & Event Fees

ENTRIES: Jumping Classes - Via My Riding Life; before 10pm on Friday 25th September. Late entries will be accepted at entry fee plus £5.00.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Guernsey Pony Club.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.
 

Terms & Conditions

 

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

 

1.       Competitors and owners entering their horses/ponies do so at their own risk and it is a condition of entry that no liability of any kind attaches to the BS UK/ BS Guernsey, in any respect whatsoever, other than the refund of entry fees in the event of abandonment of the competition. Spectators & visitors entering the showground do so at their own risk and it is a condition of entry that no liability of any kind attaches to the BS UK/ BS Guernsey.

2.       A parent, guardian or designated adult must accompany any junior rider competing on the premises and be present at all times. Accompanying the rider to the warm up and be present whilst the rider is competing in the jumping arena.

3.       ALL HORSES/PONIES MUST BE COVERED BY THIRD PARTY INSURANCE.

4.       ENTRIES CLOSE AT 10.00 pm on Friday 25th September 2026 and should be submitted online via My Riding Life.
Late entries will be accepted at standard entry fee plus an additional £5 for the first late class entered.  Thereafter standard entry fees will apply. This does not include HC rounds which are charged at standard entry fee. All late entries require immediate payment at the time the entry is made, either by bank transfer or in cash to the Show Secretary – Bank transfer to be evidenced to the Show Secretary.

5.       Substitution of horse or rider in a class already entered should be made directly to the Show Secretary or Judge not less than one class prior to the class in question.

6.       All entries are accepted at the discretion of the Organising Committee.

7.       All jumping classes will be judged in accordance with the rules of the BS as published in the Member’s Handbook 2026.
 

8.        Classes may be divided, amalgamated, handicapped or cancelled depending on the number of entries received.

9.        Drawn order will be as per the published running order and late entries will jump first.

10.    The Committee reserves the right to disqualify from all further classes at the Show, any competitor whose

behaviour in the opinion of the Committee is in contravention of Rule 82 governing the conduct of members. The Committee also reserve the right to take further disciplinary action as they see fit. Competitors are also reminded that they are expected to abide by the Code of Conduct as published on the BS Guernsey website. Parents of Junior members, please note accordingly.

   12.  Refund of entry money will be paid in accordance with Rule 79.5.

   13.  Competitors/Grooms/Visitors must observe all of the directives of BS Guernsey and the Organising Committee and   

            officials, especially in relation to health & safely matters.

   14.  Horse and ponies must not be left unattended on the Showground.

 

WARM-UP ARENAS - In the interests of safety, can we remind all members that the warm-up arena (Concept 360Arena) should only be occupied by horses/ponies competing in the class in progress. A maximum of 6 horses/ponies to be in the jumping area at any one time. Additional warm up will be available in the Sandschool.

No spectators, children under 16 years or dogs please to be in this area, only riders & their helper/trainer.
