🐎🍾 PRE-TRAIL HUNTING TRAINING WITH DAVID DOEL 🍾🐎
Get yourself and your horse ready for the Trail Hunting season with a fun and confidence-building pre Trail Hunt training session with David Doel from Reybridge Eventing.

πŸ† David brings a wealth of experience to the session, having competed at 5* level and having served as a MFH. His unique combination of top-level eventing and hunting experience makes this a fantastic opportunity to learn from someone who truly understands both sides of the sport.

The session will comprise of the following:

🐴 Arena warm-up, giving horses and riders the chance to settle, get moving, have a jump under the instruction of David and prepare for the session ahead.
🌿 We’ll then head out into the fields in groups of 5, along with David who will be mounted, to jump a variety of typical hunting style fences.
πŸͺ΅ Jumps will include both natural & solid hunting-style fences.

β˜• After each training session please join us for tea, light refreshmemts and an informal post-training chat with David. It will be a  great opportunity to chat about how the session went and ask any questions you may have about Trail Hunting and jumping.

✨ A fantastic opportunity to get Trail Hunting ready, build confidence and enjoy some excellent training with an experienced 5* event rider and former MFH — followed by a relaxed catch-up over tea and cake.

⏰ Group 1 - 10am – Approx 1m
⏰ Group 2 - 12:30pm – Approx 1m and above with the option of jumping a few bigger fences.

£87.50 per horse and rider (Approx 1.5 hour’s mounted, followed by tea and light refreshments).  Horse and rider combinations must be competent with riding at the heights given and be safe in a group.

Please note: Hard hats (no fixed peaks will be allowed) must be worn to BE/PC/RC standards and must be tagged with new PINK Tag (2023 onwards) and Body protectors must be worn and of the 2018 standard.

Payment Details & Event Fees

Bookings in advance using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to West Wilts EC. You will receive an email confirmation of your clinic entry and payment.

Withdrawals/Refunds

All bookings are pre entry only.

No refunds unless space can be filled minus a £5.00 admin fee.

Please make sure that you book into the correct height as we may not be able to change the entry at a later date. 

Abandonment Policy:  Incase of abandonment of the clinic for any reason we will offer a free transfer towards an alternative training clinic- or a refund minus a £3 admin fee. The booking fee of £1.50 is non refundable in all cases.

 

 

Terms & Conditions

·         ALL horses must not be under current investigation for infectious diseases including, for example, Equine Herpes Virus (EHV), Equine Influenza, Strangles.

 ·         All Horses must not have been in contact with and is not kept on the same premises as a horse known to have or be under investigation for the neurological form of EHV, Equine Influenza, Strangles or Equine Viral Arteritis.

 ·         HORSES/PONIES MUST NOT BE LEFT TIED UP OUTSIDE UNATTENDED.

 ·         Please do not park in front of or block access to the loading bay.

 ·         NO spectators or filming are allowed in any of the warm-up or competition arenas. Please use viewing areas.

 ·         You are expected to ride on your allocated times. If you do not do so, you risk being unable to ride in

 ·         PLEASE CLEAR UP ANY DROPPINGS OR HAY IN THE LORRY PARK.

 Dogs are allowed but MUST be kept on a short lead at all times. No Exceptions.

Although every effort will be made to ensure the safety of participants, horse riding is a very high-risk sport and therefore, West Wilts Equestrian Centre and its staff cannot accept responsibility for any accident, damage or injury to horses, owners or other persons or property
