Arena Eventing run over a mixture of showjumps and cross country style fences with a knock down joker* on the outdoor arena at BCA. The fences will be a mixture of showjumps, working hunter style fences and fences to mimic cross country challenges. Classes from 70cm to 1m.
* The joker can be up to 10cm taller than the rest of the course. 6 faults will be applied if you knock the joker down.
These are open classes, with no restrictions - no requirement to be a BRC member. The classes are running alongside a BRC area qualifier, qualifying for a BRC championship at Aston le Walls. Entries to these classes can only be made through a BRC Team Manager for paid up BRC members. Horse/Rider combinations competing in the qualifier are not able to eligible to enter open classes on the same day.

These Classes are not open to those combinations competing in the Qualifying Classes
The secretary will not be office based. The office will be manned BUT competitors should print their own numbers – please phone 07974 938685 for assistance on the day. Back protectors Level 3 Blue label 2018 are mandatory for this class and no fixed peak hats. BS rules regarding whips should be adhered to. Prize giving will be on foot at the end of each class.
ARRIVAL, PARKING & ATTENDANCE
We will not accept any entries on the day. If you have not entered, please do not come. Please park economically but allowing a distance between you and the next door vehicle. Please ensure you pick up any poo, loose hay or litter from around your lorry and take it home with you. Please don’t leave this for us to do at the end of the day!
Warm Up & Competing
There will be a limited number of riders allowed in the main warm up arena. There will be three warm up jumps (cross pole/upright and oxer). There will be a course walk before each class. Please help us to adhere to times given.
Rosettes will be available for collection at the end of each class or you may leave SAE for them to be sent to you. Results will be posted online and live update will be available on www.ridingclubresults.co.uk Please look for BRC Area 6 Arena Eventing Open sections.
