Chertsey Horse Show: Rules and Conditions of Entry
1. No entry will be accepted without the appropiate fee.
2. The committee reserves the right to refuse any entry without explanation.
3. A full refund will be given if a class is cancelled.
4. Entry fees will only be fully refunded on production of a Veterinary or Doctor's certificate at least 24hrs prior to the beginning of the show. Later requests for a refund will be at the discretion of the Horse Show Secretary and will only be a percentage of the fee.
5. The committee reserves the right to vary the order or composition of the schedule according to circumstances or to cancel or amalgamate any class in which there are less than 6 entries.
6. All horses and ponies must have their passports present, any without will not be permitted to compete and will be asked to leave the showground.
7. Correct headgear MUST be worn by all riders at all times while on the showground.
8. Horses when not competing must be kept strictly to the horse lines, collecting rings, excercising areas and horse walks.
9. All ridden and driven exhibits must be 4 years old or over.
10. Objections, which will be heard by the members of the Executive committee present on the ground, must be made in writing to the Secretary and accompanied by a deposit of £50, within 30 minutes of the incident giving rise to the objections. The deposit will be forfeited unless the objection is upheld or the Committee considers that there were reasonable grounds for it to be made. Only the owner, his authorised agent or the competitor is entitled to lodge an objection.
11. No claim can be entertained for anything that may happen to competitors, onlookers, their property, servants or animals in connection with or arising out of the show. It shall be considered a condition of entry that each entrant shall agree to indemnify the promoters against any legal action arising from such accidents.
12. The Judge's decision is final. Only officially presented objections will be considered (as described in Rule 10)
13. Riders attending the showground unaccompanied must carry contact details of a responsible person in case of emergency.
14. No electrified fencing to be used without the permission of the Horse Show Secretary
ENTRY FEES
Entry Fee per class £13.00
Clear Round Show Jumping £5.00 - Tickets to be purchaed from the Secretary Tent on the day.
Cheques should be made payable to 'Chertsey Agricultural Association'.
Cash payments only will be accepted on the day
A FIRST AID LEVY OF £5.00 WILL BE PAYABLE BY EVERY RIDER/DRIVER/HANDLER
Entry Fee includes:
Two passes to the Chertsey Show per horse per entry
Rosettes: 1st - 6th place in each class
Excluding: 'Chase me Charlie' 1st - 3rd Place
There will be no admissions to the showground without a pass.
