 Rosettes awarded for 1st to 6th place. Some classes may be split dependant on entries.

1st and 2nd place from the showing classes are eligable for the Championships. Please check the schedule to make sure your class is included in the Championship

RULES AND CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1. AN INDIVIDUAL SHOW will be required for all showing classes unless stated otherwise.

2. TIMINGS are approximate. It is the rider’s responsibility to check if the classes are running to time.

The organisers will not be liable should class times clash. COMPETITORS WILL NOT BE

PERMITTED TO LEAVE AND RE-ENTER THE RING WITHIN THE SAME CLASS OTHER THAN

FOR HEALTH AND SAFETY REASONS. NO EXCEPTIONS.

3. If a rider has a fall they will not be permitted to remount in the ring and ask to leave the ring

immediately to be checked over by the first aider in attendance.

4. NO STALLIONS allowed on the Show Ground

5. ROSETTES to 6th place 

6. ENTRIES will close prior to the closing date if full. PRIORITY entry will be provided to club

members.

7. HORSES & PONIES must be 4 years and above to take part in RIDDEN AND IN HAND classes including the jumping ring

8. For welfare reasons, no excessive coat shine. Baby oils and pig oils are not permitted in any class.

9. HEALTH & SAFETY The Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the

Health & Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all

reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and obey the instructions of the

Organiser and all Officials and Stewards.

10. Make sure any elderly relatives, children and other vulnerable persons who are spectating are in a

safe place away from any horse walk ways or warm up areas

11. LIABILITY The Owners/Organisers will not accept any responsibility for any accident injury illness or

loss of property howsoever caused

12. HARD HATS to BSI standard PAS 015 –En 1384 or ASTM F1163 must be worn at all times whilst

mounted with harness in place.

13. HARD HATS to BSI standard PAS 015 –En 1384 or ASTM F1163 must be worn at all times with

harness for children under 16 participating in in-hand classes.

14. CORRECT FOOTWEAR must be worn when mounted and leading.

15. DOGS must be kept on leads at all times. Dog litter must be bagged up and taken home.

16. CHILDREN & PUSHCHAIRS must be kept away from practice areas and collecting rings.

17. Walk way signs for horses/pedestrians MUST be adhered to

18. VACCINATION CERTIFICATES It is expected that all equines brought onto the showground have

current vaccination certificates for equine influenza. Passports will be spot checked

19. Horses passports should as standard be carried with any horse/pony when travelling

20. REFUNDS for entry fees only refunded on production of a valid vet or doctor’s certificate.

21. OBJECTIONS must be made in writing within 15 minutes of the end of the class with a £10.00

deposit, which will be forfeited if the objection is over-ruled.

22. RESERVATION The organisers reserve the right to cancel any class if deemed necessary and to

refuse an entry without having to state the reason.

23. LITTER must be taken home, and horse-boxes must not be mucked out on the premises.

24. FOUL Language and abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.

25. The Judge’s decision is FINAL.

26. MEMBER’S CHALLENGE TROPHIES will be awarded at the AGM. They remain the property of

CHRC. Challenge trophies must be returned by 1 Sept 2026 in the condition received, or the

recipient will be liable for the cost of replacement.
