Join multi award winning Accredited Equine Behaviourist - Millie Martin for an in depth talk on Equine pain behaviours. 

This talk will go through the close relationship between equine behaviour, pain, and welfare. Using real life client case studies to demonstrate how qualified behaviourists can work collaboratively with other qualified equine professionals (such as specialist lameness diagnosic vets and surgeons) to identify the root cause of behavioural concerns. We will look at how subtle behavioural changes and body language can indicate underlying discomfort or pain, explore the equine pain scale and discuss how to recognise the early signs that are too often overlooked or rules at 'naughtiness' or 'being stubborn' 

Through real life client before and after case studies, we will follow each horses journey from behavioural symptoms to diagnosis, highlighting how positive reinforcement training can then go on to help rebuild confidence, trust and emotional wellbeing once the pain or discomfort has been addressed... Can you guess the diagnosis from the behavioural symptoms?
