Rules and Regulations

This competition will run under BRC Rules, anyone in attendance will be bound by the BRC Code of Conduct. It is important that all competitors are aware of the rules relating to this competition – please see the current BRC Handbook and also the BRC Rule Amendments and Changes Document which can be found at the link below: https://www.bhs.org.uk/british-riding-clubs/brc-downloads/brchandbook/ 

Hats

All hats must have a visible current BRC/BE/PC PINK hat tag in place before they are worn on the showground, to show that they meet the current safety standards. There will be a trained official available on the day to do this for you if your hat does not currently have one. For up to date hat rules please see the current BRC Handbook.

Bodyprotectors

A body protector is MANDATORY for this competition as fixed XC fences will be used.

Numbers:Please print your own number. 3 copies (Front bib. Back bib. Vehicle window screen)

Parking: Please park in designated parking area 5m apart.

Vaccinations  & Passports:Your horse must have up to date influenza vaccinations in line with rule G7 in the current BRC Handbook. Last Flu vaccination MUST be before 11 May 2024. Flu vaccination records will be checked in advance via the Area 7 Flu Vacc Database.  It is a legal requirement that horses and ponies travel with their correct passports, passports may be inspected at this event.

No refunds will be given after the closing date.

Attendance at the event assumes that you will compete. Please notify the collecting ring steward if you are withdrawing.

Terms & Conditions
Disqualifation: By entering you are agreeing to abide by the rules.  Anyone who does not comply with the event request will be disqualified and asked to leave the site immediately.  Any BRC members who do not comply shall also be reported to BRC for further disciplinary action

CC 70

Riders not to have completed under FEI Rules in the relevant discipline in the last 5 calendar years. For Eventing restrictions at 70cm – 90cm applies to 3* and above only and for 100cm applies to 4* and above only.

Horses may not have completed a BE90 / BRC HT, CC or AE 90 or above in the previous 12 months. Horses may not have completed a BE 3* or above in the previous 3 years.

CC 80
