VISITOR INFORMATION
v No visitors are permitted in the barn. The paddocks and surrounding land are out of bounds to all visitors. Horses are not to be grazed on any grassed areas within the premises. This includes the Access.
v Please do not make contact with any of the other horses whilst at the premises.
v Smoking is permitted in the car park, please dispose of your cigarette butts considerately.
v The speed limit down the track is 10mph. Please do not drive on the grass.
v Dogs are not permitted.
v Please leave the facilities in a clean and tidy state, ensuring all equipment is put away correctly (jumps etc) and all droppings removed.
v All breakages must be reported and will be charged as necessary.
v Lunging or free schooling is not permitted in the arena.
v Correct footwear and clothing to be worn at all times. All riders must wear protective headgear conforming to BSI standards at all times when mounted.
v All Users under the age of 18 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult and must be supervised at all times.
v Under no circumstances may horses/ponies be tied up unattended outside horse boxes/trailers. Horses/ponies must not be tied up to any part of the premises at any time, attended or otherwise.
v Please leave the parking area tidy and clear away any rubbish/droppings.
v Clients and visitors must ensure that gateways and paths are not obstructed, and all arena gates are left closed.
v Any person or animal behaving dangerously may be asked to leave the premises. Excessive use of whips, spurs, rough riding, foul language, or any welfare issue will not be tolerated, and you will be required to leave the premises immediately.
v Horses attending must be in good health and be up to date with their equine influenza vaccinations.
v Although we hold the necessary insurances, riders must have their own public liability insurance for the activities they are carrying out when on the yard.
v No refunds will be given for arena hire cancellations or no shows. Please allow 72 hours minimum for rescheduling. Refunds for clinics will only be given if you space can be filled, less a booking fee of £1.50.
Fox Farm Equestrian will not be liable for any damage caused whatsoever to vehicles, animals, trailers, lorries, individuals, etc., whilst hirers are on the premises or using the facilities.
🐴Important Biosecurity Notice - Equine Influenza🐴
Due to the recent rise in confirmed equine influenza cases across parts of the UK, we kindly ask all visitors and competitors to help us keep Fox Farm Equestrian as safe as possible for every horse on site.
Please kindly follow these simple precautions when attending:
🐎 Only travel horses that are fit and well. If your horse is showing any signs of illness such as coughing, nasal discharge, or a temperature, please do not bring them to the venue.
🐎 Please ensure your horse’s flu vaccinations are up to date before attending. We operate a 12-month vaccination policy for all horses visiting the venue however vets current recommendations are 6 monthly.
🐎 Horse passports must accompany all horses travelling to our venue. Passports may be spot checked by staff and visitors risk being turned away if this information can’t be provided.
🐎 Please avoid unnecessary horse-to-horse contact in the lorry park, walkways, and around the venue. ABSOLUTELY NO CONTACT TO BE MADE WITH OUR LIVERY HORSES.
🐎 Do not share equipment including buckets, tack, grooming kits, or water sources between horses.
🐎 If your horse has recently been in contact with a suspected or confirmed case of equine influenza, please do not travel. If you need to withdraw for biosecurity reasons, contact us directly on 07827 666960 and we will always do our best to support responsible decisions made in the best interests of the wider equine community.
