Show Information

Come and compete in the spectacular setting of Frickley Park!

Join us for Unaffiliated Minimus Show Jumping on grass in the Frickley Park National Show Jumping Arena.

A fun, relaxed day open to all riders and horses/ponies – perfect for those starting out or not wanting to jump bigger tracks.

Designed for:

  • Lead rein and assisted riders
  • Confidence-building riders
  • First-time competitors
  • Independent riders
  • Anyone wanting to experience jumping at a busy, atmospheric event

What to expect:

  • Friendly, supportive environment
  • Rosettes and fantastic prizes throughout the day
  • Mounted prize-giving in the national arena (Class 3 & 4)

Classes

  • Class 1: 30cm – Individual, Lead Rein or Assisted
  • Class 2: 40cm – Individual, Lead Rein or Assisted
  • Class 3: 50cm – Individual
  • Class 4: 60cm – Individual

All classes run as single-phase competitions and are open to horses and ponies.

We look forward to welcoming competitors of all ages and abilities for a brilliant day of minimus show jumping at Frickley Park.

Payment Details & Event Fees

You can enter using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Frickley Park Limited.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.

Entry Fee:

Classes 1, 2,3,4 - £12 per class

£2.50 First aid per rider 

Prize Information

Classes 1 & 2  Rosettes for everyone 

Classes 2 & 4  Rosettes 1st – 6th and prizes in kind 1st to 3rd 

Refreshments:

Enjoy great food and drinks on site — with a tempting selection of hot and cold options available to purchase throughout the day.

Make your way to The Frickley Arms, our on-site bar, and grab a drink to keep the good times going.

Withdrawals/Refunds

Withdrawls refunded less £5.00 Admin Fee up to Friday 14th August 2026 10AM

Horse/ Rider/ Class change £3.00 Admin Fee per Change

Terms & Conditions

1) No stopwatches or timing equipment allowed

2) Any outside interference may result in disqualification.

3) The Officials reserve the right to refuse entry to, or evict, from any class any person(s):

a- that behaves in an irresponsible or offensive manner.
b- Whose horse/pony they consider unfit to compete.

4) Objections must be lodged with the secretary with a £20 deposit (refunded if proven) within 15 minutes of the class closing

5) Horses entered in the UVEX Frickley Cup BE80, BE90, BE100 or RCNQ- L BE80, BE90, BE100 are NOT permitted to enter the Frickley Park Unaffiliated Minimus Show Jumping
