Class 1 Equifest Mountain & Moorland In Hand –
Open to In Hand Mountain & Moorland ponies registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Connemara, Dales, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Fell, Highland, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh A, B, C and D. Stallion, mare, colt, filly or gelding any age.
Classes may be divided according to entries.
Class 2 Equifest Ridden Mountain & Moorland –
Open to Mountain & Moorland Ponies registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Connemara, Dales, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Fell, Highland, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh A, B, C and D. Stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years and older. Rider any age.
Classes may be divided according to entries.
Class 3 Equifest Open Show Pony Lead Rein –
Leading Rein Pony, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over, not exceeding 128cms. Riders not to have attained their 8th birthday before 1st January in the current year. To be led by an attendant and shown in a snaffle bridle. Lead rein to be attached to the noseband only.
Class 4 Equifest Open Small Hunters –
Open Small Hunter, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over, exceeding 148cms but exceeding 158cms. Riders any age.
Class 5 Equifest Open Ridden Hunter –
Open Ridden Hunter, mare or gelding. 4 years old & over, exceeding 158cms. Riders any age.
Classes may be divided according to entries.
Class 6 Equifest Young Riders (Amended from Intermediate SRT or SHT) –
Mare or gelding, exceeding 146cms but not exceeding 158cms. Riders not to have attained their 25th birthday before 1st January of the current year. This class may be divided according to the affiliated show’s preference and may be run as an intermediate SRT or intermediate SHT. Open to any type of horse – Hack, Hogged Cob, Traditional Cob, Riding Horse, Hunter or ROR. Horses will not be ridden by the judge.
Class 7 BRHHS Eversley Ridden Heavy Horses –
Open to horses 4 years old and over that are registered in the main British Stud Books of the Shire, Clydesdale, Suffolk or Percheron Society at the time of qualification and must be entered in the name and ownership they are registered. Qualifications to be awarded no lower than third place if the winning horse has already qualified. At shows where there is no Ride Judge a stand/individual show will be required. Riders will be required to give a short individual walk, trot & canter or set show lasting 2 minutes. Change of rein and lengthened strides in trot and canter must be shown. Rein back (optional), stand still and obedience to the leg. Horse should leave the ring at work or trot. Entries will not be asked to jump.
1st & 2nd from all In Hand classes qualify for the In Hand Championship in Ring 1 at end of all morning classes.
1st & 2nd from all Ridden classes qualify for the Ridden Championship in Ring 2 at the end of all morning classes.

Class 8 Equifest Open Riding Horses –
Open Riding Horse, mare or gelding. 4 years old & over, any height. Riders any age.
Classes may be divided as follows:
· Small Riding Horses – Mare or gelding, 4 years old & over, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 158cms. Riders any age.
· Large Riding Horses – Mare or gelding, 4 years old & over, exceeding 158cms. Riders any age.
Class 9 Equifest Open Ridden Cobs –
Open Ridden Cobs, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 155cms. To be shown hogged and trimmed. Riders any age.
Classes may be divided as follows:
· Open Lightweight Ridden Open Cob, mare or gelding, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 155cms. To be shown hogged and trimmed. Riders any age.
· Open Heavyweight Ridden Cob, mare or gelding, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 155cms. To be shown hogged and trimmed. Riders any age.
Class 10 Equifest Open Re- Trained Race Horses –
Thoroughbred, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, any height. Horses must have been raced in the GB to be eligible to compete. Riders any age.
Class 11 Open In Hand Veteran Horse/Pony –
Stallion, Mare or Gelding, 15 years old and over. Any type or breed. Classes may be divided according to entries.
Class 12 Equifest In Hand Piebald / Skewbald –
Open In Hand Piebald / Skewbald stallion, mare, colt, filly or gelding, any age. The first three places will also qualify for the BSPA Championships, subject to their show rules & conditions. Classes may be divided according to entries.
Class 13 Open Ridden Veteran Horse/Pony –
Stallion, Mare or Gelding, 15 years old and over. Any type or breed. Any suitable sized rider. Classes may be divided according to entries.
Class 14 Equifest Ridden Piebald / Skewbald –
Open Ridden Piebald / Skewbald stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over. Riders any age. The first three places will also qualify for the BSPA Championship subject to their show rules & conditions. Spurs may not be worn by any rider on a pony (not exceeding 153cm). No pony under 153cms will be ridden by the judge. Classes may be split according to entries.
Class 15 Equifest Open In Hand Riding/ Hunter Ponies. –
In Hand Riding/ Hunter Ponies, stallion, mare, colt, filly or gelding. Any age, not to exceed 153cms at maturity. Classes may be divided according to entries.
1st & 2nd from all In Hand classes qualify for the In Hand Championship in Ring 1 at end of all morning classes.
1st & 2nd from all Ridden classes qualify for the Ridden Championship in Ring 2 at the end of all morning classes.

Class 16 – COLOURED HORSE/PONY RIDDEN AMATEUR OF THE YEAR
Ponies: Open Ridden Piebald/Skewbald, stallion, mare or gelding 4 years and over. Riders any age except for those on stallions who must have attained their 14th birthday by 1st January of the current year. Spurs must not be worn. Ponies under 153 cms.
Horses: Open Ridden Piebald/Skewbald, stallion, mare or gelding 4 years and over. Riders any age except for those on stallions who must have attained their 14th birthday by 1st January of the current year Spurs may be worn by adult riders. Animals 153cms and over.
Class 17 - MOUNTAIN AND MOORLAND LARGE BREEDS RIDDEN AMATEUR OF THE YEAR
Open to Mountain and Moorland ponies registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Fells, Dales, Highlands, New Forests, Connemara, Welsh C and Welsh D. Stallion, mare or gelding 4 years and over. Riders any age except for those on stallions who must have attained their 14th birthday by 1st January of the current year. Spurs must not be worn
Class 18 – LEAD REIN MOUNTAIN AND MOOLAND RIDDEN AMATEUR OF THE YEAR
Open to Mountain and Moorland ponies registered with their Pure Bred Societies of Dartmoor, Exmoor, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh A or B. Mares or geldings 4 years old and over, not exceeding 128cms. Riders must have attained their 3rd birthday but not have attained their 9th birthday before 1st January in the current year. Led by an attendant and shown in a snaffle bridle, the lead rein to be attached to the noseband only.
Class 19 – RIDDEN RIDING HORSE/HACK AMATEUR OF THE YEAR
Open to Hacks and Riding Horses. mare or gelding, 4 years old and over. Exceeding 148cms but Hacks not exceeding 160cms. Riders must have attained their 15th birthday by the day of the Show Spurs may be worn by adult riders
Class 20 – RIDDEN COB AMATEUR OF THE YEAR
Open Ridden Cob, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over. Exceeding 148cms. To be shown hogged and trimmed. Riders must have attained their 15th birthday by the day of the Show. Spurs may be worn by adult riders
Class 21 – RIDDEN HUNTER AMATEUR OF THE YEAR
Open Ridden Hunter, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over. Exceeding 148cms. . Riders must have attained their 15th birthday by the day of the Show. Spurs may be worn by adult riders
Class 22 – RIDDEN VETERAN AMATEUR OF THE YEAR
Open to horses and ponies of any breed, type and height, 15 years and over. Riders of any age, suitably mounted – animals will not be galloped. Spurs not to be worn. Blemishes are not taken into consideration.
1st & 2nd from classes 16 – 22 qualify for Ring 1 Championship. Held after Class 22.
Ring 2 – SUNSHINE TOUR QUALIFERS

Open to ridden, in hand and lead rein
Class 27 – Junior Handler
Handler to be 18 years and under.
Class 28 – Prettiest Mare
Open to ridden, in hand and lead rein
Class 29 – Handsome Gelding
Open to ridden, in hand and lead rein
Class 30 – Novice Open (all breeds)
Ridden Horses/ ponies to be shown in walk and trot in the go around. Canter optional in individual. Ideal class for nervous/ novice horses and riders. Open to juniors and seniors.
1st & 2nd from classes 23-30 qualify for Ring 2 Championship. Held after Class 30.
