Adams Lane is a single track road and on the day a one-way system will be in operation. All vehicles MUST enter Adams Lane from the main B2165. After the ride all vehicles will exit via the other end of Adams Lane.

Show Information

A BRAND NEW sponsored ride across undulating farmland with minimum road riding in the beautiful Tillingham Valley, near Northiam, East Sussex.
Two non-jumping routes:
Long route - approx 12K
Short route - approx 5K

About Chalkdown RDA:

Chalkdown RDA is part of the national Riding for the Disabled Association and is a separate self-funding charity (1174554). Our very special RDA ponies provide life-changing therapy and offer opportunities for our participants to achieve amazing things.

We would like to thank the Tillingham landowners for their generous support in allowing Chalkdown to run this beautiful new ride across their land and thank you to everyone taking part.

Payment Details & Event Fees
Ride Fee: £30 made up of £5 payment for Paramedic Cover and minimum £25 Sponsorship in the form of a donation which would be eligible for GiftAid. Please tick Box and confirm this when prompted on your booking.

Withdrawals/Refunds
There will be no refunds (unless the event is cancelled by the organisers)

In entering this sponsored ride, it is accepted that you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions listed below:

All riders attend and ride at their own risk and should have their own personal insurance
All riders must have valid third party insurance for their horse Neither Chalkdown RDA nor the landowners accept responsibility for any loss or damage to person, horse/pony, vehicle or personal property
BHS approved hats must be worn by all riders
Riders must wear their allocated number on the ride, and report in to the starter and finisher
Any late arrivals may be required to wait until the starter can accept them
No horses/ponies under 4 years of age. No stallions.
All horses/ponies must be vaccinated against equine influenza
The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to any horse/pony which in their opinion is not fit for purpose.
No dogs allowed on the rides.
Riders 14 and under must be accompanied by an adult
Riders must be respectful of riding on farmland and stick to headlands and tracks as indicated
Riders must be respectful of other riders and pass them slowly
All rubbish and horse droppings must be removed from the car park
Any accident or damage must be reported to the Event Secretary
No water is available on site – please bring your own.
Paramedics and a 4x4 ambulance will be on site, but vet cover will be on an on call basis. There will be no farrier.
At least one member in each group to have a mobile phone on the ride with the App what3words downloaded
