By hiring facilities, entering or holding a clinic or show at Parwood Equestrian, I knowingly and freely assume all risks, both known and unknown. I voluntarily participate at my own risk and take sole responsibility for any injury, death or property damage I may suffer arising from my participation in activities at Parwood Equestrian.
I acknowledge that I must be medically fit to participate and that it is my responsibility to seek medical advice if I have any doubt. I will not attempt any activity that is beyond my ability.
I accept full responsibility for myself, my guests, my pupils, my employees and my animals while on the Parwood Equestrian grounds (the Grounds).
I agree to release, waive and discharge Parwood Equestrian, its directors, associates and employees from any loss, damage or claims — including claims for death, personal injury or loss of property. All personal property kept, placed or left on or about the Grounds shall be entirely at my own risk. Parwood Equestrian accepts no responsibility for loss, theft, injury or damage to any personal property, including but not limited to horses, tack and vehicles.
I agree to be wholly responsible for all damage caused by me, my guests, my employees, my animals, or anyone on the Grounds with my consent or at my invitation.
I confirm that I hold adequate insurance, including third party public liability cover, to protect myself and my horses. Where I bring employees onto the Grounds, I confirm that I hold appropriate employers' liability insurance. Where I am instructing or hosting a clinic at Parwood Equestrian, I confirm that I hold the relevant public and personal liability insurance for that purpose.
I agree to wear appropriate safety equipment whilst on the Grounds and, in particular, whilst mounted:
- A correctly fastened riding hat to the current BSI Standards at all times when mounted on the show ground.
- A back protector.
- Appropriate footwear with a heel.
All horses and ponies, when outside the arena, must be moved at walk only to ensure the safety of all spectators and pedestrians.
I confirm that I understand Parwood Equestrian expects all persons attending the Grounds to behave responsibly and to conduct themselves with fair play, good sportsmanship and mutual respect.
I understand the dangers associated with alcohol and mind-altering substances and agree not to consume them during any activities on the Grounds. I take full responsibility for any injury, loss or damage resulting from their consumption.
I agree not to use or be under the influence of any substances prohibited by law before, during or after any activities at Parwood Equestrian.
