• British Novice:For registered ponies in Grade JD, that have not won a total of 150 Points to be ridden by Junior Members, ages as per Rule 77.12/77.13.Qualifies for: Pony British Novice Championship Second Rounds. Qualifying period 1st May-30th April inclusive.Numbers to qualify: Those ponies that jump a clear round in the first round, followed by a clear round in the jump-off, in at least four Pony British Novice First Round competitions held in the qualifying period will qualify to compete in the Pony British Novice Second Rounds, irrespective of their placings for prize money in those competitions, which will be determined by the normal Table A Rules (Rule 191). Ponies in the class must go in to the jump-off and go clear to gain their double clear round qualification. The winner of a particular Pony British Novice First Round competition will not automatically qualify solely as a result of that competition.• 80cm Open:For registered ponies in Grade JA, JC, JD to be ridden by Junior MembersIf combined with an open:In the event of 15 or more starters this class will be split with two sets of prize money. Open to Ponies that have qualified to compete by jumping double clear rounds in at least four Pony Discovery First Round Competitions in accordance with Rule 408.6 Ponies are eligible to enter and compete in as many Second Rounds as the owner wishes. There will be 12 Second Round competitions.Qualifies for: Pony Discovery Championship Final at the British Showjumping National Championships.Numbers to qualify: Top 10 ponies, disregarding those already qualified, plus those ponies that jump one treble clear in any of the Pony Discovery Second Rounds.

Qualifying period: 1 July - 30 June. Numbers to qualify: Two double clears to qualify. Qualification is pony/rider combination. Double clear qualifications will not be obtained from one round competitions (e.g. Table A4 or Table A (1 Round)).

For registered ponies in Grades: JA, JC & JD to be ridden by Junior Members.This class is also a qualifier for the 148cm Restricted Open Championship. Rule 399, riders who have ever been on a Pony European Championship team, Pony Nation Cups team or pony/rider combinations in the top 10 of the Gold league as of 31st March 2026 are not eligible to qualify for the Final. The Final will be at the Welsh Home Pony Show. Qualifying period: 1 July 2025 - 30th June 2026 for the 2026 Final. Numbers to qualify: Those combinations who jump double clear (clear in the first round and the first jump-off) (one double clear) in the qualifying period. Double clear qualifications will not be obtained from one round competitions (e.g. Table A4 or Table A (1 Round)).

For registered ponies not exceeding 138cms, to be ridden by Junior Members, ages in accordance with Rules 77.12 & 77.13. This competition is open to all but for qualification purposes, Riders who have ever obtained points on the Gold League are not eligible for the Stepping Stones Final. Pony/Rider combinations who have ever obtained points on the Silver League are also not eligible for the Stepping Stones Final. Qualifies for: Four double clear rounds to qualify for the British Showjumping National Championships. Two double clear rounds will also qualify for Cats & Pipes at The Scope Festival. Qualifying Period: 1st July - 30th June for Stepping Stones. 1st January-31st July for Cats & Pipes.Numbers to qualify: Those pony/rider combinations who achieve four double clears (subject to revision) will qualify for the Final. Those ponies who achieve two double clears will also qualify for the Cats & Pipes Championship at The Scope Festival.If run as a Handicap, pony riders will be given dispensation to ride up to three ponies in each height section. No rider may compete more than three ponies in the same section.

Round Competition & Horse Of The Year Show 128cm Second Round.Numbers to qualify: Two double clears to qualify
(subject to revision). Dispensation will be given to run the Winter 128cms and Winter 138cms First Rounds as a
handicap competition. If run as a Handicap, pony riders will be given dispensation to ride up to three ponies in each
height section. This class will split in the event of 20 starters or more and two sets of prize money awarded.No rider
may ride more than three ponies in the same competition, in accordance with rule 77.6.

Refunds are strictly in accordance with the BSJA rule 79.5. Entries cancelled before 48hrs of noon of the show day will be refunded at a rate of 50%*. Any entries made or withdrawn within 48hrs before noon of the show day or after will not be subject to a refund or eligible to transfer, unless accompanied by a valid Vet or Doctor’s certificate. *excluding online £1.50 equine affairs booking fee.
Due to limited parking, we ask that horses are not left unattended unless securely boxed and must not be tethered outside. Please park sensibly and close together PARWOOD HAS A NO SMOKING POLICY All dogs, if attending, must be kept on a lead on the showground at all times NO BICYCLES to be ridden on showground It is the responsibility of all participants to clear up their rubbish. Please DO NOT skip out at the venue – take home any droppings made by your horse All ridden horses and ponies must be 4 years of age or over. No entry will be refunded or transferred after the closing date except on production of a medical or veterinary certificate Parwood Equestrian Centre reserves the right to cancel any show, alter classes or refuse any entries without explanation. In the event of cancellation, refunds will be made less £3.00 per entry to cover administration costs. Please respect this and ensure the show ground is kept tidy The judge’s decision is final and any objections must be made in writing within 15 minutes of the incident and accompanied by a £15.00 deposit, which will be refunded if the objection is sustained It is a condition of entry that no responsibility will be accepted by the organisers, Parwood, their representatives or helpers for any loss or damage to spectators, competitors, their horses, grooms, friends or property under any circumstances whatsoever It is the responsibility of all competitors to present themselves in time for the classes in which they are entered Protective headgear, properly secured must be worn at all times when mounted. Hats marked EN1384, PAS015, ASTM F1163, BSEN14572:2005 or SEI. American standard SNELL E2001, ASTM95, SNZ3838 1998. Skullcap hats must be worn with a silk. All competitors must wear correct riding dress.
