Welcome to our Fun Family Dog Show! Bring your four-legged friend along for a relaxed, family-friendly afternoon of waggy tails and proud poses. Each class is £3 to enter online and will be judged in turn, with rosettes and prizes up for grabs, finishing with our Best in Show. Huge thanks to our generous sponsors and judges for helping to make the day possible.
We’ll have ice cream for humans and hounds, a face-painter, bouncy castle, have a go dog agility drop in, children’s trail, guided walks around our 160 acre site and a demonstration from the West Midlands Police. There will also be a representative from the Birmingham Dogs Home to come a chat to and a special prize for the best fancy dress.
Our newly refurbished Café will be open for food and drink, which is over at the main building.
If you need to withdraw from a class, please let the steward/registration desk know.
Please help us keep the show safe and enjoyable for everyone by following the rules below. The organisers and judge’s decision is final.
• Responsible ownership: Dogs remain the responsibility of their owner/handler at all times.
• Leads: All dogs must be kept on a lead while on site, except when instructed by the ring steward/judge within the ring.
• Waste: Please clean up after your dog immediately and use the bins provided.
• Health and welfare: Dogs must be fit and healthy to take part. Please do not bring dogs that are unwell, in season, or recovering from recent illness/injury.
• Vaccinations/parasite control: Dogs should be up to date with routine vaccinations and parasite prevention.
• Behaviour: Dogs that show aggressive or uncontrollable behaviour may be asked to leave the ring or site for safety reasons.
• Children handling dogs: Children must be supervised by a responsible adult. Handlers should be able to safely control their dog.
• Collars and equipment: Use well-fitting collars/harnesses and leads. Slip leads may be used in the ring if preferred. No choke chains/prong collars.
• Treats and toys: Small treats may be used to encourage your dog. Please keep a safe distance from other dogs and do not feed any dog without the owner’s permission.
• Ring etiquette: Arrive near the ring in good time for your class, follow steward instructions, and keep space between dogs while lining up.
• Judging: The judge’s decision is final. Classes will run as close to the advertised times as possible, but timings may change.
• Withdrawals: If you need to withdraw from a class, please let the steward/registration desk know.
• Photography: Photos/video may be taken during the event. If you do not wish to be photographed, please speak to the organiser on the day.
• Liability: The organisers cannot accept responsibility for loss, injury, or damage to persons, dogs, or property, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
