Dressage training from international dressage rider, Sophie Taylor.

If you don't know Sophie this is her journey so far......

I’m a 24-year-old international dressage rider with a passion for horses. I’ve been riding since I

was little and have experience in all areas of riding, including jumping and showing. I’ve won

several prestigious competitions, including the HOYS and Royal International show hunter

pony class.

I’ve also been fortunate enough to train some amazing ponies, like George Clooney B.S. whom

I brought on from a 4YO. He’s a true champion and he successfully scored over 70% at the

European Championships in 2018 and went on to win European gold medals with Abigail Gray.

He’s now living a happy life in Sweden!

In 2017, I won European team bronze on Becky Moody’s pony, Madams Miss Maria. That was

a huge achievement for me!

I’m currently training my top horse, Jerrydale, who I’ve had from a 4-year-old and now we are

at Inter II level. I’m hoping to reach the European Championships in Hungary this year in the

U25 Grand Prix and am about to debut at my first U25 International for GB at Hartpury. Training

is my passion, and I love helping people improve their horses!

I have been lucky over the years to receive lots of guidance and training from top riders

including Gareth Hughes and Becky Moody along with 5-star international dressage judges

including Peter Storr and Isobel Wessels.

Individual lesson - 45 minutes- £50 for members £54 non members 

All horses/ponies must have been vaccinated for flu within the last twelve months. Passports may be checked. Competitors must sign in at venue and must have third party insurance if not a club member. Horse’s passport name on entries please.
Please remove all droppings and no haynets to be tied outside lorries or trailers.
All classes are ridden under BRC rules. Please check eligibility for classes (on SSRC website). If you wish to enter a class lower than you or your horse are eligible for please enter HC.
The organisers reserve the right to refuse entry, cancel, amalgamate or alter classes at their discretion.
