Show Information

An exciting new training opportunity! These sessions are of benefit not just for riders wanting to improve their Working Equitation skills, but also for riders looking to improve control, balance and co-ordination for all disciplines. In addition, it is fun, and a chance to meet with other like minded riders and socialise! There will be a maximum of 4 riders per 1 hour session. All levels welcome.

We will be working on 3 - 5 obstacles only in each session, concentraing on the flatwork and perfecting each obstcle. But each session will also have an underpinning focus - this first session, we will be working on SUPPLENESS. This is the second foundation in the Scales of Training, and important for the horse's comfort and wellbeing in its ridden work. 

Sharlotte Hughes is an approved Working Equitation instructor. She is fully insured, DBS checked and first aid trained. She is an experienced instructor, working with horses and rider at all levels. She actively competes very successfully in Working Equitation.

Please note that as a Riding Club session, the BRC rules for the riding hat standards apply. Please make sure your riding hat conforms to the latest safety standards. Riders may not take part in a hat that doesn’t meet the latest safety standards. 
Please do not tie any animal up outside your vehicle and leave unattended.
First aid cover is in line with Risk Assessment.
