Qualifiers -
Equifest Qualifiers - This Show is affiliated to Equifest, taking place at Arena UK, Grantham, Lincolnshire on the 5th-8th August 2026. The two highest exhibits not already qualified in each affiliated class will qualify. Please obtain a qualifying card before the show, the judge must sign the qualification card in the ring. ESUK Qualifiers - This Show is affiliated to Equine Sports UK (ESUK) Grassroots Championships taking place at Arena UK, Grantham, Lincolnshire on the 30th July - 1st August 2026. The three highest placed exhibits will qualify in each class. Qualification cards are handed out in the ring.
The Veteran Horse Society First round Area Show Qualifier, open to members and non members. Area qualifier is the first of the three rounds in the Veteran Horse Society showing series. Competitors placed 1st to 4th at an Area Qualifier are then eligible to enter a Regional Final (second round) providing they become a member. Competitors then placed 1st or 2nd at a Regional Final gain qualification to the VHS Supreme Final - Veteran Horseof the Year 2026 sponsored by Allen & Page. Members must carry their cards in the ring and have their showing card signed by the judge in the ring as proof of qualification. Non-members will receive a red qualification card which can be exchanged for signed showing card when applying for VHS membership. This MUST be done within 21 days of qualification. Concours D’Elegance of GB qualifier - 1st, 2nd and 3rd placed horses/ponies not already qualified in eligible classes will qualify for the Concours D'Elegance championships held at Onley Equestrian Centre, For up-to-date information www.eqconcoursgb.com

Liability The organisers and all other persons connected with the event do not accept liability for accidents, damage, injury or illness of horses, horse owners, riders, spectators or any other persons or property whatsoever. Everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the organiser and all the officials and stewards. The judge’s decision shall be final in all matters, without stating the reason, Objections - any objections to be put in writing and lodged with the secretary, together with a deposit of £20 within 15 minutes of the close of class. All ages as of the 1st January 2026 horse and human. Competitors are advised to have a minimum of 3rd part liability insurance
Rules Correct safety hard hats to BRC standard must be worn when mounted on showground. All horses and ponies that attend the show must have up to date vaccinations. Children to be supervised at all times. No horse or pony under 4 years old may compete in Ridden Classes. Horses should not be left unsupervised when tied up to the outside of lorries or trailers. Polite notice - please clear up after your horses - haynets/poo. Stallions to be handled by handlers over 14, stallions must be bitted, and stallions/colts must wear id disc. Handlers under 16 must wear hard hat while showing inhand. Competitors are responsible for being ready at the correct ring when required, if you are in a different ring please let the ring steward know, we will do our best to accommodate
