Late entries only available to horses already entered online before closing date, and only if class has space. Cash only taken on the day.
Entry fee £12 per class, £15 on the day.
First Aid £3 per rider
This show will support local good causes together with The Kent Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance
Special rosettes, prizes and trophies will be awarded in all classes across the day.
Every competitor will go home with a rosette!
SUNSHINE TOUR QUALIFIERS
All classes at this show are qualifiers for The Sunshine Tour Championships held at The All-England Showground, Hickstead from Thursday 17th – Sunday 20th September 2026. The Championships are for unaffiliated and amateur competitors in Dressage from Intro to Elementary, Show Jumping from Lead Rein to 1.0m; Showing for lead rein, in-hand, ridden, working hunter, veterans, plus many more, Eventer’s Challenge from 50cm through to 90cm. Qualification: Dressage & Show Jumping 1st – 3rd place; Showing & Eventers Challenge 1st – 4th place. Qualification does not pass down the line.
Registration of qualification must be completed within 1 month of competition (sooner for late July shows).
Restrictions apply to both horse and competitor’s previous winnings and amateur status, please check the website for Terms & Conditions.

Show catering will be provided by The Poachers Pocket @ South Brockwells Farm. Serving home produced delicious burgers, bangers, breakfast muffins, bacon rolls, hot & cold drinks and much more.

• By entering Chiddingly Horse Show you have agreed to obey the rules detailed below.
• Remember to bring your horse’s passport. All horses and ponies attending this show are required to have current vaccinations against Equine Influenza and Tetanus and spot passport checks will be made.
• All horse movement must be at walk unless in the Warm-Up area or in the Competition Rings. Anyone not complying may be asked to leave the showground.
• We recommend that all participants at this event have their own personal liability insurance.
• Competitors must wear a number at all times when mounted or leading on the showground. Please collect your number from the Secretary.
• All entries must be accompanied by correct remittance and are received on condition that the Show Committee accept no responsibility for any loss, damage, or accident etc. which may be sustained to vehicles, horses or persons or any property whatsoever.
• The Committee also reserve the right to disqualify or refuse to accept the entry of any competitor for any reason they may deem fit.
• Ages of children should be taken as at 1st January 2026.
• Those leading riders in any Lead Rein class must be aged 16 years old or over taken from 1st January 2026.
• Hard hats, to the current safety standard, should be worn and safely secured at all times when mounted and are recommended when leading. Handlers under the age of 16 (taken from 1st January 2026) must wear a hard hat to the current safety standard for an In-Hand class.
• Spurs may not be worn by any rider aged under 16 (taken from 1st January 2026) in any class and no spurs may be worn in any ridden pony class.
• Judges’ decision is final and you are asked to treat them with respect.
• Objection, if any, to be made in writing to the Secretary's tent within 30 minutes of the event objected to, with a deposit of £15 which will be refunded if the objection is upheld.
• No claim can be entertained for anything that may happen to competitors, onlookers, their properties, servants or horses, in connection with or arising out of this Show. It shall be considered a condition of entry that each entrant shall agree to indemnify the promoters against any legal action arising there from.
• The Organisers of this show have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organisers and all Officials and Stewards.
• Behaviour: in the event of a competitor, or anyone connected with a competitor, found to be improperly or abusively behaving towards their animal, an Official of Chiddingly Horse Show or the general public, the Committee may ask those people to leave the showground.
• Following a fall in any class, while competing, the rider must leave the ring dismounted and seek medical advice.
• No horses/ponies to be left unattended when outside a horsebox or trailer on the showground.
• All dogs must be kept on a lead and you must clear up after your dog.
• No horses and ponies under 4 years of age may compete in any ridden class (age taken as at 1st January 2026).
• Any stallion competing must be ridden/handled by someone aged over 16 (as at 1st January 2026) and must be identified by both bridle badges and tail ribbons.
