MEMBERS ONLY SOCIAL RIDE on Friday 14th August

from SYNDALE FARM, FAVERSHAM ROAD, OSPRINGE ME13 0RJ

Venue: What3words : sprint.incensed.fooling

At the kind invitation of John & Vicky Clinch plus at least two other landowners with adjoining farms in the Norton Area.  

Meeting from 10am, ready to ride at 10.30am.

This ride will be mainly over privately owned farmland with some bridleways & country lanes

Aprox. 1.5 to 2 hours (weather depending).

This ride will be limited to 5 riders and will be led by Vicky Clinch

Hard Hats & Hi-viz MUST be worn that conform to the latest BRC Guidelines.

Please be considerate to other riders in the group and at all times, the group will go at the speed of the slowest or least confident rider No one will be pressured to ride outside of their comfort zone

Please bring something to 'socialise' with for after the ride (tea/coffee/cake etc!)

There is grass parking with easy access.

Please clear up any hay & muck before you leave – it can be put on the muckheap.   

Directions for parking will be circulated nearer the time

Entries in advance. You can enter using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Faversham & District Riding Club.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.

Cancellation Policy
Refunds for clinics or training due to unforeseen circumstances will only be given if a replacement participant can be found by you or the organiser or from a waiting list and at the discretion of the club officials.

Should the club have to cancel a clinic due to unforeseen circumstances you may choose to have either a full refund or use it for another FDRC activity.
Shows & other club activities eg. Social rides, dog walks etc are not subject to the above and any decisions will be at the committee’s discretion unless laid out in the event schedule.

Should the ride be cancelled or postponed your entry will be carried over but will only be valid for 6 months from the event.

  • Hiviz MUST be worn by both horse and rider as rides are on lanes and bridleways.

  • All rides have a dedicated group leader, whose word is final!

  • At all times, the groups will go at the speed of the slowest or least confident rider.

  • No one will be pressured to ride outside of their comfort zone.

  • No overtaking unless it is ok with the rider in front.

  • Do not trot or canter off without the lead rider’s permission.

  • The committee reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel your entry upon receipt of any report of a breach of the rules or dangerous behaviour by either horse or rider.
