Box Parking:  ample room for lorries/trailers – hard standing if wet

Length of ride : up to 75 to 90 minutes, at walk and trot

Arrival 10.30 am for 11.00am ride start - 

Group of no more than 4 incuding the lead rider.
Places limited to 3 - MEMBERS ONLY 

Hard Hats MUST be worn that conform to the latest BRC Guidelines

Hi-viz  MUST be worn on horse & rider

The ride will be over mainly private farmland (some of it, open ground), bridleways, woods & quiet lanes. 
The Steaddy Neddy rides are aimed at Members who want a shorter/slower ride for older, younger or novice horses and/or riders. 

Those riders who fall into the above criteria will be given preference for places. 

Please be considerate to other riders in the group and at all times, the group will go at the speed of the slowest or least confident rider. No one will be pressured to ride outside of their comfort zone.

Please bring something to 'socialise' with for after the ride (tea/coffee/cake etc!)

Please clear up after your horse & bring implements to do so

Entries in advance. You can enter using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Faversham & District Riding Club.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.

Members only - Cost: £5

SCancellation Policy
Refunds for clinics or training due to unforeseen circumstances will only be given if a replacement participant can be found by you or the organiser or from a waiting list and at the discretion of the club officials.

Should the club have to cancel a clinic due to unforeseen circumstances you may choose to have either a full refund or use it for another FDRC activity.
Shows & other club activities eg. Social rides, dog walks etc are not subject to the above and any decisions will be at the committee’s discretion unless laid out in the event schedule.

Should the ride be cancelled or postponed your entry will be carried over but will only be valid for 6 months fron the event.

  • Hiviz MUST be worn by both horse and rider as rides are on lanes and bridleways.

  • All rides have a dedicated group leader, whose word is final!

  • At all times, the groups will go at the speed of the slowest or least confident rider.

  • No one will be pressured to ride outside of their comfort zone.

  • No overtaking unless it is ok with the rider in front.

  • Do not trot or canter off without the lead rider’s permission.

  • The committee reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel your entry upon receipt of any report of a breach of the rules or dangerous behaviour by either horse or rider.
