This is the third event in the RVRC Dressage Roadshows series
Dates are Thursday 11 June at Comphurst Farm, Saturday 4 July at Stonelink Farm, Thursday 6 August at Little Branshill and Championship Show at Bull Farm Saturday 29 August 2026
Only the results of the Intro, Prelim, Novice and Elementary tests will count towards the Championships.
Points will be awarded for placing 1-6 for Intro, Prelim, Novice/Elementary. If entrants are doing both Prelim classes then points from the highest placing and highest percentage will count towards Championship.
There will also be prizes for best turned out, oldest combination, youngest combination and best tryer over the 4 competitions.
for the first 3 events riders may wear 'relaxed' riding gear (no hoodies, no wellies please) or may wear competition gear. For the Championship Show competition dress is required.
Horses not required to be plaited.
INHAND DRESSAGE TEST
Enter at A in walk down the centre line.
At X halt immobility salute
Proceed in medium walk, at C track right
At B half 10m circle right to X
At X HALT for 5 seconds.
Rein back 2-5 steps.
Proceed in medium walk. At X 10m half circle left to E
At A turn left onto centre line
At D halt and swap on to off side of the horse
Proceed on centre line to X
At X turn right
At B turn right
At A turn down centre line
At D halt and swap on to near side of the horse
D to X in medium walk
XCHE allow the horse to stretch then gather the rein before E
At E turn left. At X turn right to A turn left
Between F and M show some trot strides
At E half 10m circle to X
At X proceed down centre line
At G Halt immobility salute
