Grass Show Jumping Instructional Sessions

Venue: Pony Club Field – Show Jump Course

Instructors: Hayley Walters, Karen Dufty, Penny Cruttwell, Cilla Perchard, Debbie Cawley or Sophie Oliveira

Dates: Wednesday 25^th March to (and including) Monday 27^th April 2026*.

* Please note the field will not be available for hire between the 1^st – 3^rd April due to our Easter Show preparations.

There are varied instructional slots between the instructors for 1:1 or small groups (at the instructor’s discretion) to try to suit members. This is open to members only.

You must:

1.       choose your instructor

2.       contact your chosen instructor to agree your suitable day/time slot;

3.       Make payment via the MRL link; and then

4.  Send the completed application form by e-mail to jdhpctraining@gmail.com

Cost: £5 per member attending a session to be paid via the MRL link above. This cost is on top of the instructors standard rates (these will vary depending on individual/group session) which should be paid to them directly.

Dress:

·         Body protectors and leather neck straps/ martingales are recommended. Body-Protector-Rule.pdf

·         Hats must be to Pony Club standard and tagged Hat-Rule.pdf

·         Tack should be in accordance with Pony Club Rules Dress-and-Tack-Rev-2024.docx

·         No jewellery is allowed (other than medical jewellery and a wristwatch)

Bookings and payment in advance only. You can book using our Secure Online Entry System Payment is secure and it goes directly to Jersey Drag Hunt Branch Of The Pony Club. You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment. 

Entries: via MyRidingLife then send in your form

 Fee: £5 per member.

Non-members will be accepted, at an extra non-member fee charge of £5.

Refund policy: No Refunds except on a doctors note or 48 hours notice.

NON-MEMBERS All non-Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third-party cover. The Jersey Drag Hunt Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-Members and their insurance will not cover you.  Please provide evidence of your third-party cover. 

HEALTH AND SAFETY Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the Health and Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.

LEGAL LIABILITY Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
