Open to members and friends (although non members will need to show prrof of their own insurance)

Orienteering there will be a long and short route.  Both routes start and finish from the same place, Albury sports field car park, just the other side of Newlands Corner Hill and explore the lovely countryside around there.  All times will be in the afternoon.  

The long route is approx 13.5 km and includes several hill climbs and some stunning views.  This route is best suited to adventurous riders as some of the paths are steep.  Varied terrain with a few places to canter.  Takes roughly 2-3 hours.  

The short route is approx 8 km with some hills, good paths and places to have a canter if desired.  Suitable for everyone.  Takes roughly 1-1.5 hours.

Directions will be provided.  Follow the set route and answer questions along the way.  Ride in pairs or small teams.  A lovely way to spend an afternoon.  

We encourage everyone to come in a pair or small group. If you don't know anyone else going I can find a team for you to join. Discounts for CDRC members but non-members welcome.

Please put in the comments/notes if you are coming with other people and want start times together - we will issue your times 2 to 3 days before the event as groups will go at 10 minute intervals to give everyone some space on the route.
