Our series of informative talks are held in the warm and welcoming setting of the Arena Café. Taking place on Friday evenings every few weeks, these events are designed to be both educational and sociable. 

The evening begins at 6.30pm with drinks, cakes and snacks available to purchase. The talk will start at approximately 7.00pm.

For the this event, Louise Towl talks about how strength, balance and symmetry are key requirements for effective and safe riding. Understand the biomechanics of the horse-rider interaction, and how to focus your off-horse training to improve your riding, both for the comfort of your horse, and performance. 

Louise is a Chartered Physiotherapist with over 20 years experience treating people and animals, and has been teaching Pilates since 2012. Due in part to her own experiences competing in dressage and eventing, Louise has a special interest in riders, in particular the female rider and pelvic health. With new information about rider biomechanics becoming available all the time, she is keen to share this as much as possible.
