STOCKLAND LOVELL
7th-11th June 2026

This will be the eighteenth year that the Club has booked a training holiday at Stockland Lovell in Somerset (www.stocklandlovell.com) for members of the club and their horses.

It is planned to arrive after lunch on the Sunday 7th June (approx 4pm) and depart in the afternoon on the 11th June (Sunday-Thursday).  During this period you will have plenty of time to hack around the farm’s estate and local bridleways as well as take part in numerous training sessions on their cross country course, show jumping and dressage arena’s.

The accommodation is mostly in wooden cabins (there are a couple of stone barns too) sleeping from 2 to 6 people. There is also a comfy tv and sitting room as well as games room, drying room and dining area. The horses are stabled individually in a large open barn on shavings with unlimited hay or haylage.

The cost of the holiday this year will be £540. This includes accommodation for yourself and your horse, and full board (breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and cake plus a two course dinner). Tea, coffee and soft drinks and biscuits and fruit are available 24 hours a day, but any other supplies, i.e. .wine and snacks must be taken with you. We will be offering four group training sessions and can consist of one or a mixture of flatwork, show jumping and cross country.

The cost of anyone wishing to attend the holiday without a horse will be £230. If you only wish to come for part of the time then the price can be adjusted accordingly.

Horses MUST have an up to date passport and vaccinations. Stockland Lovell are now operating a 12 month Flu vaccine policy.

If you would like to go on our holiday in 2026 please email Jo Phelan with your interest.
