The aim of the BYEH Series is to encourage riders, trainers and breeders to produce and present the type of young horse which potentially has the attributes needed to develop into a world-class three-day event horse, which one day may have the ability to gallop around the Defender Burghley CCI 5*. Judging Each section at the qualifiers will be marked as follows:
Dressage Phase (35 marks)
Jumping Phase (40 marks)
Potential to lengthen stride (5 marks)
Suitability & Type (20 marks)

In each class, prize money is allocated for the first 3 places and any additional prize money should be awarded on the following scale, depending on the number of declared starters.

1st place £75, 2nd place £50, 3rd Place £30, 4th Place (over 15 starters) £25, 5th Place (over 20 starters) £25, 6th Place (over 30 starters) £25

Qualifiers for the Final
In each class, the number of horses to qualify for the Final will depend on the number of starters.
1 - 12 Starters 1 Qualifier
13 - 24 Starters 2 Qualifiers
25 - 36 Starters 3 Qualifiers
More than 37 Starters 4 Qualifiers
(NB: number of starters not number of entries) The above is subject to horses finishing in the top 5 placings – applicable where previously qualified horses are placed higher up the line.

 All refunds will incur a £5 admin fee.

 Flu Vaccination Requirements:
a) An initial Primary Course of two vaccinations must be given; the second vaccination must be administered within 21-92 days of the first vaccination.
b) The first booster must be administered within 7 calendar months following the date of administration of the second vaccination of the Primary Course.
c) In accordance with FEI regulations, all horses attending the Event at Bramham must have received a booster within 6 months +21 days (and not within 7 days) before arrival at the Event.
d) Horses may attend Bramham 7 days after receiving the second vaccination of the primary course.
e) Providing there has not been an interval of more than 12 months between each of their subsequent annual booster vaccinations and they have received a booster within 6 months +21 days (and not within 7 days) before arrival at the Event.
