🐴 Important Biosecurity Notice – Equine Influenza 🐴

Due to the recent increase in confirmed cases of equine influenza across parts of the UK, we kindly ask all visitors and competitors to help us maintain a safe environment for every horse on site.

Please observe the following precautions:

Before Travelling

🐎 Only bring horses that are fit and well. If your horse shows any signs of illness, including coughing, nasal discharge, or an elevated temperature, please do not attend.

🐎 Ensure your horse’s influenza vaccinations are up to date. Fox Farm Equestrian operates a 12-month vaccination policy for all visiting horses; however, current veterinary recommendations advise vaccination every six months.

🐎 Horse passports must accompany all horses travelling to the venue. Passports may be checked by staff, and visitors may be refused entry if documentation cannot be produced.

While on Site

🐎 Avoid unnecessary horse-to-horse contact in the lorry park, walkways, and around the venue.

🐎 Absolutely no contact is to be made with our livery horses.

🐎 Do not share equipment, including buckets, tack, grooming kits, or water sources, between horses.

Recent Exposure to Equine Influenza

🐎 If your horse has recently been in contact with a suspected or confirmed case of equine influenza, please do not travel.

If you need to withdraw for biosecurity reasons, please contact us on 07827 666960. We will always do our best to support responsible decisions made in the interests of the wider equine community.

Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and healthy environment for all horses and riders visiting our venue.

🐴❤️

Please note: CCTV is in operation throughout the premises.
