Sun 22nd March 2026
To be held at
Grange Farm Equestrian Centre, Wittering Grange, Wansford, PE8 6NR by kind permission of Robin and Di Dunlop
Partly funded by a training grant from BRC Area 7
Working Equitation is a multiphase discipline that rewards harmony and communication between horse and rider.
It usually comprises of a Dressage phase, an Ease of Handling phase and a speed phase round some of the Ease of Handling obstacles.
This is a real test of the relationship between horse and rider, the horse’s temperament and training and the rider’s skill and ability.
Working Equitation is suitable for all! Competitions have classes ranging from walk & trot through to advanced.
This clinic will be concentrating on the obstacles found in the Ease of Handling and speed phase. These obstacles replicate the challenges one might meet riding out in the countryside. Obstacles can include a gate, bridge, rein back corridor, side passing over a pole, bending poles and many more.
90min sessions in groups of 4, Ruth Buchart will take you through a number of obstacles in the arena.
