Have A Go Show 

A show to encourage riders to try a different level in dressage, or practice a test to improve their skills / %.

Pick any BD current short arena test from Intro, Prelim, Novice, Elementary, Medium or Ad. Medium.

Wear presentation kit or just casual.  

One class - no winners or rosettes - just come to help prepare for the coming season, improve your scores / skills / see how your training is progressing.

Entries in advance only. You can book using our Secure Online Entry System.
Payment is secure and it goes directly to Chilworth Riding Club.
You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.

Entry Fee £10 members/ £12 non members
Membership forms will be available on the day, if you choose to join the club on the day we will refund you £3 per class on joining.

1. This competition will be run in accordance with the British Dressage Rules 2026. 

2. Chilworth Riding Club, Woodington Training Centre and persons acting on their behalf do not accept any liability for any loss, accident, or damage to any person, animal, vehicle or goods occurring in connection with this event. It is a condition of entry that each competitor indemnifies the organiser against any claim.

3. Everyone mounted, whether a competitor or not, must wear a hard hat with the harness properly adjusted and fastened. Failure to do so will incur elimination. Hats marked PAS015 or prefixed with ASTM or SEI are the minimum standard allowed. Please check the CRC website for full details.

4. All horses and ponies must be inoculated against Equine Influenza and have a current and valid ‘flu certificate. If any horse or pony is considered to be unwell and/or with a contagious illness, the organisers hold the right to request its immediate removal from the showground.

5. Sorry no dogs.

6. Any objection should be submitted to the Secretary in writing within 30 minutes of the incident with a deposit of £10, refundable if the objection is sustained.

7. No entries will be refunded without the production of a veterinary or doctor’s certificate. No entries will be accepted without the correct fee.

8. In the event of cancellation, entry fees will be refunded minus a £2 administration charge per rider.

9. The Organisers reserve the right to alter classes, times, cancel any class or show or refuse entry.

10. We are very fortunate to be able to use this venue, please assist us in keeping it clean and tidy. Please ensure you pick up droppings and do not muck out trailers/lorries on site.  Please do not tiehorses up outside of lorries / trailers as parking is very tight.  

11. In the interests of health and safety, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organisers and/or Stewards.
