CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
1. Competitors who are not members of Chilworth Riding Club are not covered by Riding Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. Chilworth Riding Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-members and their insurance will not cover you.
2. Legal liability: Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers, the Riding Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, accepts any liability for any accident loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis.
3. Health and Safety: Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
4. Horse/ponies must not be left unattended when tied up to lorries/trailers. Please do not put haynets outside of lorries and clear up around the lorry/trailers before you go home.
5. All riding hats must conform to current standard and be worn by anyone mounted.
6. No lunging / galloping on the show ground.
7. Any lead reins must be attached to either the noseband or coupling chain.
8. All first aid is NHS emergency call out
9. Veterinary aid will be on horse owners call out.
10. The organisers reserve the right to alter, amend or cancel classes when necessary.
11. Under no circumstances will entry fees be refunded due to cancellation by competitors unless made before the closing date. (A £5 admin fee will be deducted from any refunds made.)
