PYO level from Walk & Trot / Novice / Intermediate. This will be a two round competition incorporating the Ease of Handling and speed rounds. Each competitor will be allocated a 20 minute slot. During this time, there will be a coached warm up with Sharlotte, then the competitor will ride the Ease of Handling round followed by the speed round.

CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

1.      Competitors who are not members of Chilworth Riding Club are not covered by Riding Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. Chilworth Riding Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non-members and their insurance will not cover you.

2.      Legal liability:  Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers, the Riding Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, accepts any liability for any accident loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever.  Entries are only accepted on this basis.

3.      Health and Safety:  Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present.  For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.

4.      Horse/ponies must not be left unattended when tied up to lorries/trailers.  Please do not put haynets outside of lorries and clear up around the lorry/trailers before you go home.

5.      All riding hats must conform to current standard and be worn by anyone mounted.

6.      No lunging / galloping on the show ground.

7.      Any lead reins must be attached to either the noseband or coupling chain.

8.      All first aid is NHS emergency call out

9.      Veterinary aid will be on horse owners call out.

10.    The organisers reserve the right to alter, amend or cancel classes when necessary.

11.    Under no circumstances will entry fees be refunded due to cancellation by competitors unless made before the closing date. (A £5 admin fee will be deducted from any refunds made.)

Terms & Conditions

1. All persons entering the show ground shall be bound by these rules and regulations. 2. The Organising Committee do not accept liability for damage, any accident or injury of any kind to any person, animal or property whatsoever. 3. The Judge’s decision is final. 4. The Committee reserves the right to refuse an entry/entries without reason, alter the time, date and schedule and allocation of prizes. 5. Any competitor who, in the eyes of the judges, ill treats or causes unnecessary suffering to any horse or pony will be asked to leave the showground. 6. It is regretted that no entry fees can be refunded. 7. Objections must be made in writing and given to the Secretary within 15 minutes of the incident, with a deposit of £5.00, which will be returned if the objection is upheld. 9. A current standard hard hat MUST be worn for all classes along with safe and appropriate footwear. 10. Judging will be run under current British Dressage/ABWE rules, or British Riding Club rules, where different. Under BRC rules, rising trot is allowed at Medium level. All tests are available from the ABWE website. 11. Lorries/trailer parking in the carpark. No hay nets to be tied to the outside of lorries or trailers and all droppings and litter MUST be removed from the lorry/trailer park.
