Show Information

Join us for our annual dressage championships hosted at Diamond Riding Centre only this year. The following championship classes will be open to any rider and horse combination that has placed 1st to 6th at any of our open dressage over the winter. You will be contacted by us to confirm your qualification ahead of this event:

Overall Walk and Trot Championship for the Chipstead Silver Salver.
Overall Restricted Preliminary for the Foxhollow Nursery Salver
Overall Preliminary championship for the Empress Emelia Trophy
Overall Novice Championship for the Free Spirit Trophy.

No Callers allowed in Prelim / Novice Championship Classes. Whips allowed.

Special Classes

Sunshine Tour Championships 2026 - Classes 3 and 6 only.
ALL shows must be OPEN TO ALL and not require a membership or pre-qualification Qualifying classes must be unaffiliated.
Qualification DOES NOT pass down the line.
TO QUALIFY: Competitor must submit eligible result for verification WITHIN ONE MONTH of the qualifying competition (by 31st Jan for Early Qualifier competitions, 4th August for all July competitions).
DRESSAGE QUALIFIER CLASSES 1ST - 3RD PLACE can be used to gain a qualification code. Classes can be separate test or PYO. Only if PYO classes are awarded separate placings, can both sets of placings be eligible for qualification. Intro Dressage BD Intro or centre’s own Walk & Trot classes Pony Club or Riding Club tests restricted to walk and trot Prelim Dressage BD Prelim tests Pony Club Novice or Riding Club Prelim Junior Dressage Novice Dressage BD Novice tests Pony Club Intermediate or Riding Club Novice Elementary Dressage BD Elementary tests Pony Club Open or Riding Club Advanced Junior classes or junior riders taking part in Intro, Prelim, Novice and Elementary classes Not eligible for Dressage qualification - Teams, training classes, clinics, quadrilles, virtual competitions, BD affiliated or BD Quest classes, second rounds, or championship classes

Qualifier for the Winter CRC Series Championship: Those placed 1st - 6th in Classes 1 - 5 will qualify for the Championship on the 8th March 2026 at the Diamond EC.

Terms & Conditions

ALL EVENTS RUN UNDER BHS RULES FOR RIDING CLUBS 2024
ALL ENTRIES ACCEPTED SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
The judge's decision in every case is final and not open to debate.
All competitors and/or owners must have their own insurance which includes suitable public liability cover.
Horses and ponies must not be left unattended at any time, including when secured to the outside of horseboxes or trailers.
All riders must wear the current PASOI 5 or equivalent standard hat with chinstrap fastened when mounted, even if not competing.
All hats must have a flexible peak when jumping solid fences. No camera's/GoPro's allowed.
A body protector is obligatory in all Hunter Trials and Eventers Challenge competitions. A BETA Level 3 body protector displaying a Blue 2018 Label must be worn in these competitions.
Competitors must clear up their rubbish, manure and leftover hay and not leave anything on the show ground.
No liability will be accepted for anything which may happen to competitors, spectators, their property, servants or horses and ponies in connection with, or arising out of these events.
No entry fee will be refunded unless a medical or veterinary certificate is produced before the relevant class or within seven days after the event.
Objections must be made in writing, to the show secretary within '15 minutes of the incident, accompanied by a deposit of twenty pounds which is refundable if the objection is sustained.
All ridden horses and ponies must be a minimum of 4 yrs old.
No horse or pony may be entered for more than 3 jumping classes in any one day.
The club reserves the right to refuse admission to events at its discretion.
Competitors are reminded that the welfare of their horse /pony is paramount.
CRC reserve the right to deduct £1 per entry should a show be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. This will be for administrative purposes.
All dogs must be kept on a short lead.
Stallions are welcome but must be bitted and handled by a responsible adult at all times.
Any horse acting, in-a dangerous or unruly manner will be required to leave the show ground and will forfeit any entry monies.
Any person actin-g in an unruly or offensive manner will be required to leave the show ground and will forfeit any entry monies.
Unless in the warm up or competition areas, horses must walk only on showground.

Personal information that you supply to us may be used in a number of ways to facilitate your riding club membership. It should be noted that as we are affiliated to the British Horse Society as a British Riding Club, your personal information will be shared with them in order to fulfil your BRC membership benefits and they may share with associates for the purpose of fulfilling your full membership benefits i.e. insurance providers. We, Chipstead Riding Club / BRC will automatically contact you about your membership: for example, to ensure you receive your membership benefits, to tell you about news, activities and events. This includes sending you a regular magazine, email updates, information on other membership benefits, and publishing competition times and results in the public domain.
