Show Information
Eligibility for all classes can be found in the current BRC Handbook. Eligibility will be taken from the date of the qualifier, any points/gained between the qualifier and championships will not be counted. All competitors must be a member and be on the BRC Database by midday the Friday before the qualifier. All riders must have a competitions pass on their membership profile for the horse they are riding. Anyone failing to meet the eligibility criteria will be disqualified and informed by BRC HQ when the results are processed. 
 
This competition will run under BRC Rules, anyone in attendance will be bound by the BRC Code of Conduct. It is important that all competitors are aware of the rules relating to this competition – please see the current BRC Handbook and also the BRC Rule Amendments and Changes Document.
 
Hats 
All hats must have a visible HOT PINK BRC/BE/PC hat tag in place before they are worn on the showground, to show that they meet the current safety standards.  There will be a trained official available on the day to do this for you if your hat does not currently have one. For up-to-date hat rules please see the current BRC Handbook.   
 
Body Protectors 
A body protector is mandatory for all cross-country events; all body protectors must have a Level 3 BETA 2018 blue tag on them. Riders may wear an air–jacket/vest on top as well.   Riders wearing Exo Body Cage protectors must inform the secretary at all events, so as paramedics can be informed. 
 
Flu Vaccinations 
Your horse must have up to date influenza vaccinations following rule G7 in the current BRC Handbook. There is also an excel date checker spreadsheet available to download on the BRC website.  It is compulsory for all horses to be microchipped. It is the rider’s responsibility to ensure the horse is chipped and it is traceable.  Horses and ponies cannot be vaccinated within the 6 days before competition, not including the day of vaccination or competition.  Please send clear photos of passport frontpage and vaccination history to  a7passports@gmail.com before 8pm 20th June 2026 
 
Health and Safety 
 
Further information on BRC’s health and safety guidelines can be found in the BRC handbook.  The organisers oversee ensuring the appropriate health and safety precautions are being observed. Competitors, visitors, and officials are responsible for ensuring they all individually follow all guidelines put forth by the organiser / venue to ensure the health and safety of everyone present.   
 
General Terms & Conditions 
1. It is compulsory that every person entering the one-day event under 18 years of age is accompanied by a responsible adult. 
2. Dogs are permitted provided they always remain on a short lead. 
3. Horseboxes must NOT be mucked out on site. 
4. The Owner and Organiser of the event reserve the right to remove anyone from the event site at any time without giving a reason. 
5. No riding or leading of horses in any area that is marked as out of bounds, or jumping fences not correctly flagged.  Failure to adhere will result in being eliminated and removed from the site
6. There will be paramedics and a vet on site throughout the course of the competition. 
7. Horses must be at least 5 years of age. The age will be calculated from 1st January in the year in which it was foaled. 
8. Any rider who falls anywhere on site must be checked by a Paramedic prior to leaving the site. 
9. Outside assistance is forbidden and will result in elimination. 
10. Anyone on the event site must expect to have their photograph taken and we reserve the right to publish suitable photographs along with names if relevant. If you do not wish for your photograph to be taken, please inform the secretary. 
11. The event site owner nor organiser does not insure the rider, your horse, your tack or your equipment. You are strongly advised to have in place your own adequate insurance at all times. The venue, nor anyone included in the organisation of the event will not be held responsible for ANY accident, injury or loss to any person or their property however this may be caused. Riding horses is a high-risk sport and riders taking part in this event acknowledge this and do so at their own risk and that the organisers and land owner will not be accountable or responsible for any loss, damage or injury to the rider, horse or equipment caused, including Covid-19. 
12. All litter must be disposed of in the bins provided or taken with you.

If these details are not supplied to the team managers on this entry form, the entry will not be accepted and you will not receive a refund.

HT 80
