Vehicles are not allowed on the showground before 8am
Competitors MUST abide by the parking stewards instructions. Anyone failing to comply will be asked to leave the showground, with no entry feed refunded. Would all persons please be vigilant regarding Health and Safety - Horses and pedestrians must keep to their designated walkways

B.S.P.S. AREA 11 MEMBERS ROSETTES: A member’s rosette will be awarded to the highest placed 2026 BSPS Area 11 member in ALL classes. Riders to enter the ring wearing a red armband. Placings at this show will count towards the BSPS Area 11 2026 points awards.

ALL CLASSES WILL BE PRIMARILY RUN UNDER THE RULES OF THE B.S.P.S. Please note: Classes 1-4, 6-9 and 11-16 are NOT affiliated to the B.S.P.S. • The Directors and Committee shall not be responsible for any injury, loss or damage to any person, animal or property whatsoever, and all those attending the show in whatever capacity to acknowledge this. • You are strongly advised to take out Third Party insurance on your horse/pony before competing at the show. • No refunds or cancellation of entry fees permitted, unless there is a cancellation of the show, where £5 will be deducted. • This show is run with due regard to Health and Safety. The person responsible on the day will be the designated H & S Officer. Any person attending this show MUST comply with any official request pertaining to safety, INCLUDING WITH REGARDS TO PARKING. • Correctly secured British Riding Hats PAS015, EN1384 (USA) ASTMFI1163 that meet current Safety Standard MUST be worn by riders at all times when mounted. Hats must be tagged. • No child under the age of 3 years may compete • All classes will be judged under B.S.P.S. rules. For stallions, riders must be 12 years old or over on 1st January in the current year to ride stallions not exceeding 138cms or small breed stallions, i.e. Dartmoor, Exmoor, Shetland, Welsh Section A and Section B. Riders must be 14 years and over on the 1st January in the current year to ride stallions exceeding 138cms or large breed stallions, i.e. Welsh Section C & D, Dales, Fells, Highlands, New Forest and Connemara. • The Judges decision is Final QUALIFICATION / SPECIFIC RULES – BSPS This show is affiliated to the British Show Pony Society (B.S.P.S.) and all persons competing, showing or otherwise taking part in the B.S.P.S. Classes, whether or not members of the B.S.P.S., are subject to the Constitution and Rules of the B.S.P.S., including any disciplinary procedures and shall be deemed to have consented to the jurisdiction of the B.S.P.S. All rules as per the 2026 B.S.P.S. Rule & Show Handbook. The animals placed 1st – 3rd in classes 5, 10 & 17 – 21 will qualify for the 2026 B.S.P.S. Winter Championship Show, provided the animal is registered before the date of the show at which they qualify for the Winter Championships and are ridden by a B.S.P.S. Member, except in the case of exhibitors who have never been members before who are allowed 7 days in which to become members and register their ponies.
