The course will be available for walking from 2pm on 26 June.  If walking the course on Saturday (horse trials) or Sunday please exercise caution,  listen for jump judge whistles indicating an approaching horse and follow any instructions from the jump judges.

Show Information

 Clear round show jumping will be from 70 and the heights will increase throughout the day.  Entries for Clear Round will be taken at the ringside.

Withdrawals/Refunds

No refunds for withdrawals within 7 days of the event unless supported by a vet or medical certificate.  In the event of cancellation entry fees will be returned less £5.00 administration charge.

Terms & Conditions
1. Riding Hats must be worn at all times when mounted and must adhere to the current British Showjumping/BE safety standards, there must be no fixed peaks for cross country. Body protectors that adhere to the current BE safety standards must be worn on the cross country course. Failure to wear the correct safety equipment will void any insurance.

2. An adult must accompany riders under 18 years of age, either mounted or on foot.

3. Horses and ponies can be ridden only once in each class. No horse to do more than two classes on one day

4. No entries will be accepted by telephone.

5. Scoring for all classes: There is an undisclosed optimum time. The winner is the person who does a clear round and goes closest to the optimum time over the whole course. Pairs class will have a dressing fence, where you will incur penalties if you're not side by side. NO STOPWATCHES ALLOWED.

6. Any competitor eliminated may carry on if deemed safe to do so by the jump judge, but MUST give way to following competitors. In the event of a rider or horse fall no competitor may continue on the course and must be seen by the paramedics. 

8. Any competitor in difficulty at a fence, must make way for a following competitor, who is about to overtake.

9. Please provide your own number bib.

10. NO REFUNDS for withdrawals can be made within 7 days of the event unless supported by a vet or medical certificate. In the event of cancellation entry fees will be returned less £5.00 per entry for administration costs.

11. The decision of the judges will be final and the organisers reserve the right to cancel or amend any of the conditions or competitions as they think fit, and to refuse any entries, or to ask any person to leave the grounds.

12. Any objections must be made to the secretary in writing within 30 minutes of the published results accompanied by a deposit of £20, returnable if the objection is sustained. Videos are not acceptable.

13. The organisers and Sparright Farm do not hold themselves responsible for anything that happens to competitors, spectators, their property or horses in connection with this event or arising out of this event. It shall be a condition that all entrants shall agree to indemnify the organisers and Sparright Farm against any legal action arising out of this event.

14. The organisers and Sparright Farm take reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safely of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards at all times. 

15. Online entries are preferred and will incur a £1.50 card handling fee. All clear round entries will be on the day (£10 per round - cash at ringside)

16. Clear Round Show Jumping is dependant on the weather. We reserve the right to cancel it if it is deemed to be too wet in the grass SJ arena.

17. Dogs are welcome and must be kept on leads at all times. Dog poo must be picked up and taken away with you. Do not muck horseboxes or trailers out in the lorry park.
