Class 1
Working Equitation Leadrein

A fun class for children under 16. Ease of Handling phase only (no Dressage or Speed). As well as being led, assistance is also allowed with the obstacles, but this will be taken into account with the marks. Judged without placing with rosettes for completion and special for the highest percentage. Can be judged by persons other than qualified judges.
Class 2
Working Equitation Juniors B (0.30m - 0.40m)

Riders 16 and under. This is an introductory level designed to give confidence to riders and horses / ponies. Walk and trot are required in Dressage and EOH trials i.e. canter is not allowed. Rising or sitting trot. In the speed phase, canter is permitted but not compulsory. Horses / ponies to be 4 years and over. To be ridden with reins in two hands.
Class 3
Working Equitation Juniors A

Riders 16 and under. This is the for horses / ponies established at canter and able to do a simple change through walk. Some of the movements are equivalent to BD elementary level. This level is for horses progressing towards advance level. This is equivalent to BD Medium/Advanced Medium. There is an option for flying changes (higher mark) or simple changes. Horses must be five years or over. To be ridden with reins in two hands.
Class 7
Working Equitation Inter A

This is the precursor to advanced. Ridden with two hand equivalent to BD PSG/Advanced. Collection is required at this level. Horses and ponies to be 6 years or over, to be ridden with reins in two hands.
Class 8
Working Equitation PYO

This class is for riders who are not current members of British Working Equitation. Can be ridden at any level. Please specify level on entry form. The cost includes a £20 day ticket which is passed to British Working Equitation.

Show Information

Fairoak Grange is within easy striking distance of the M4, M3, and A34 making it accessible to riders from large areas of the South East, South West, and Midlands regions.

Ease of Handling and Speed will be held on a 40m x 40m all weather with the dressage in a 20m x 40m indoor.

Large hard standing parking.

Dogs are not permitted at Fairoak Grange.

Please do not graze horses in-hand around the arena.

Horses should be limited to the box park unless under saddle and warming up / competiting. 

Prize givings will be unmounted (i.e. on foot).

Please note that there is limited mobile phone signal on site and therefore the on the day mobile number (07734 423765) may not always be available.

Payment is secure and it goes directly to Equus Training.

You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment.

Special Classes

Non-members of British Working Equitation may compete in the PYO Class.

The non-members Pick Your Own class can be at any level from Junior / Walk and Trot upwards.

The non-member entry fee is £75 which includes a £20 day ticket surchage (£55 + £20) and is passed to the Association to enable riders to be a "member for the day'.
