Entries may close before this date if entries are full. Please enter as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Teams must consist of three or four riders. Schools unable to field a team may send a max of 2
individuals per class and schools already with a team/or teams may additionally have a max of 2
individual riders. Team riders’ rounds will count toward both the team and individual results.
All classes will be single phase; the course will be in two parts. Once a competitor has jumped the first part of the course, they will continue immediately, even if they have faults (unless they have been eliminated), to jump the second part of the course which is against the clock. The individual winner is the rider with the fewest (or zero) faults, accumulated over both sections, with the fastest time over the second part of the course. The winning team is the team with the fewest (or zero) combined faults, accumulated over both sections, with the fastest combined time over the second part of the course. The faults/times of three team riders will be combined, with teams of four the score of the rider with the most faults/slowest time will be dropped

Payment is secure and it go to Lingfield College. You will receive an email confirmation of your class entry and payment.
Entries are £15 for both team and individual riders, + £3.50 per rider (for First Aid).
Individual Prizes
• Six individual placings will be awarded
• The placings will be decided by the riders with the fewest (or zero) faults, accumulated over both
sections, with the fastest times over the second part of the course.
Team Prizes
• Six team placings will be awarded.The placings will be decided by the team with the fewest (or zero) faults, accumulated over both
sections, with the fastest times over the second part of the course. The faults and times of three team
members will be combined to produce a final score, teams of 4 will be able to drop the score of the
rider with the highest faults/slowest time.
Prize Giving
This will be unmounted, adjacent to the main arena, but competitors are expected to be dressed in
appropriate competition dress. . 1st - 6th will be awarded in both the team and individual
competitions.
Entry fees will only be refunded on production of a Doctors or Vets certificate or in the event of
cancellation by the Orgnaiser, £5 will be retained for administration costs.

7. Team Managers should register their school with the secretary before the competition begins
8. Team Managers should make themselves available at the collecting ring at the start of each event

Terms and Conditions
1. All Show Jumping classes will be run under British Show Jumping rules 2023 and Felbridge Rules. All
heights in show jumping classes are approximate.
2. ONLY the Team Manager is to deal with the secretary and/or officials of an event. Changes to team
members must be made before the day of the competition and preferably before start times are
published. Changes on the day, may only be made before the start of the class and only if there is an
injury or incident which prevents a horse or rider from competing and will be at the discretion of the
competition secretary.
3. The Team Manager is responsible for the conduct of all riders, parents and persons associated with
their school, which includes the use of social media. They should ensure good sportsmanship,
horsemanship, and equine welfare at all times.
4. The judge’s decision is final. Objections must be made within 10 minutes of the result,
accompanied by a deposit of £20 which will be returned if the objection is sustained.
5. Protective headwear that conforms to BSI standards must be worn at all times. All competitors andhorses should look neat and tidy. Long hair should be in a hairnet.
6. Horses must be at least 4 years old and must have had their flu vaccination within 12 months of
the competition.
7. The organisers do not hold themselves responsible for anything that may happen to competitors,
spectators, their property or horses in connection with, or arising from, these events. It is a condition
of entry that the organisers will be indemnified against any legal action caused.
8. In the event of cancellation, a £5 deduction per class will be retained for administrative costs. The
First Aid fee is non-returnable. The organisers reserve the right to alter or cancel any class, to divide
any class, to alter the advertised times, and refuse any entry without stating the reason.
9. Misuse of whips or spurs, bad language or inappropriate behaviour may result in elimination and
the competitor being asked to leave the showground.
10. All dogs must be kept on a lead.

event, Lingfield College accept no liability for any accident, loss, or damage (save for death or
personal injury) to any person, animal, or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence,
breach of contract or otherwise.
