Following on from a successful event in May earlier this year, the Arena Eventing is back at Osberton this October, allowing more competitors the chance to participate in our Arena Eventing classes at Aspen Cooling's Osberton International (2) Horse Trials!
The Arena Eventing sections will involve a short course of show jumps (8-10 fences), followed by 10-12 XC fences, finishing with a Joker fence, which will be a show jump 10cm bigger than the rest of the course.
There will be an optimum time, where you will gain a 0.4-time penalty for every second over the optimum time and a 0.4-time penalty for every second in excess of 5 seconds under the time.
The joker fence is compulsory; if the fence is knocked down, 6 penalties will be incurred.
This event will have opportunity to place as the EMDG highest placed member, please make a note on your entry if you are an EMDG member
This event is a qualifier for the 2026 BE Arena Eventing Championships only for the 80cm class and 90cm class.
Please see website for rules on eligibility and the qualification process.
