Horses/ponies must be vaccinated per current BS regulations and random passport checks will be conducted.

The purpose of the event is to participate in competitive affiliated showjumping. All attendees must abide by all rules at all times. Anyone deemed to be breaking any rule as pertaining to British Showjumping or to the venue,  will be required to immediately leave the showground. (No refunds will be payable.)

Anyone appearing to be showing symptoms of the Covid-19 virus or any other disease, or any horse/pony showing possible infectious disease symptoms,  will be required to immediately leave the showground. (No refunds will be payable.)

Note Access to the warm up arenas is in order of draw only with a maximum of EIGHT being permitted in the arena at once. If you are not happy with this stipulation PLEASE DO NOT ENTER as no alternative is possible.

First aid is charged at £5 per rider-day within booking party. Duplicated charges as a result of multiple booking parties entering the same rider, or a rider being multiple times defined in a booking account, will not be refundable. Please check in the rider drop down box when making your entry and if a rider listed more than once, be sure to select from the same position in the list every time a class entry is made. Then please tidy up your account by deleting rider duplications as soon as possible by contact with the MRL support team who will ensure all current bookings are correct.

FUTURE MINIS TEN & UNDER TEAMS are selected at the show by the venue on the basis of participants of ** BOTH ** class 1 and  class14 . These teams are not by nation.

Show Information

** PLEASE REFER TO THE BRITISH SHOWJUMPING SYSTEM AND TO THE ON LINE CURRENT MEMBERS HANDBOOK AND AMENDMENTS FOR ALL APPLICABLE RULES. **
IT IS THE HORSE /PONY OWNER, JUNIOR MEMBER BS REGISTERED GUARDIAN'S & RIDER’S RESPONSIBILITIES TO CHECK HORSE/PONY/RIDER ELIGIBILITY FOR ANY CLASS.

PLEASE BE SURE TO SELECT THE CORRECT SECTION ON DUAL SECTION CLASSES – SECTION CANNOT BE AMENDED AFTER JUDGING HAS COMMENCED.

Payment Details & Event Fees

Online payment via the 'MyRidingLife' booking system will permit use of a credit card,  or a debit card, or a Paypal account.

If you have issues using the payment facility, please call 07736 108495 for assistance.

Manually processed entries - £5 admin fee payable with booking/non-refundable.   

Alterations post drawn order publication incur an admin fee of £5 which is non-refundable.

First Aid will be levied at £5 per MRL-defined-rider, per booking party, per day. If you wish to add further class entries for a rider, having already completed a booking for that rider for that day, provided your booking account is correctly set up and you were the original booking party, then you will not be re-charged the levy payment.   

PLEASE NOTE if more than one booking party books for the same rider, this fee will be payable by each separate booker per rider per day.  Note too,  that if a booking party defines a rider more than once in their account, then uses more than one of these from the drop down rider selection list, the system will perceive this to be two (or more) different riders and the fee will be applied to each. If you notice in your rider drop down box a rider appearing mutiple times, be sure to select from the same position in the list for every class entered. We advise that you then apply to the system providers (text to 07798626075) to delete the duplicate rider records.  (They will also merge all 'live' entries across all venues using the system, but no adjustment to fees already paid will be applicable).    

There will be no refunds payable of first aid levy charged by the entry system where multiple bookings parties enter the same actual rider on the same day nor where an actual rider is multiple times defined in a booking party's online entry account (i.e. the rider has several MyRidingLife rider account numbers within one single booking account or across several different booking accounts.)

Dishonoured or cancelled payment or ANY non-payment by last day of event - A £20  fee will be immediately added to the account;  all recovery costs are payable plus interest charged daily at Barclays Base Rate plus 8%. 

 All charges include VAT - a VAT statement can be provided AFTER the event - please request by email using the booking email address.

PLEASE NOTE THAT FAILURE TO PAY ANY ACCOUNT INCURRED AT THE EVENT MAY DELAY YOUR PRIZE PAYMENT.

Stabling Information: Yes

DURATION STABLING IS AVAILABLE FOR THIS EVENT. 

BOXES MAY BE OCCUPIED FROM NOON OF TUESDAY 29TH OCTOBER - STRICTLY NO ACCESS PERMITTED BEFORE THIS TIME.  PLEASE ARRIVE BY 9 PM TO BE SEEN INTO YOUR STABLES. 

Temporary boxes - £110 including VAT

'Tented Barn' boxes - £130

Stallion boxes - STRICTLY STALLIONS ONLY AND YOUR OTHER PONIES WILL NOT BE IN THE SAME AREA - £150. Anyone bringing a stallion to the event must have it under control at all times, including when using stabling.

Unless stated, shavings are not provided and MUST be pre-booked if required, else please bring your own supplies.

HOOKUP AND OVERNIGHT LORRY PARKING ON SITE AVAILABLE TO STABLING PARTIES ONLY AND LORRY REGISTRATION MUST BE PROVIDED ON ALL BOOKINGS WHETHER STABLING OR NOT.

HOOKUP IS £105 INCLUDING VAT  FOR THIS EVENT - PLEASE NOTE THAT A CONTINUOUS SUPPLY THROUGHOUT THE DURATION CANNOT BE GUARANTEED  and if you require this, please furnish your own on board, low-noise generator. Hookup provision will cease at 8 pm on the last day of the event. 

Power outage is most often caused by a user's faulty lead or equipment. All electrical equipment must therefore have passed  PORTABLE EQUIPMENT TESTING by an approved electrical body - random requests for sight of PAT certification will occur and any box observed to be without this will be disconnected and no refund will be due.  Any connection causing failure of the system, any person seen to be or suspected of tampering with supply, any persons employing splitters, will be disconnected, connection leads will be confiscated, A FINE OF £300 WILL BE PAYABLE AND NO REFUND OF THE BOOKING FEE WILL BE DUE.

**TO AVOID DISCONNECTION, PLEASE ENSURE THAT THE CORRECT LORRY REGISTRATION IS INCLUDED 

 Haylage and Bedding available (see SUNDRIES tab) and MUST BE PRE-PURCHASED VIA THIS BOOKING SYSTEM AND COLLECTED FROM THE ISSUING POINT ON ARRIVAL. 

(Evidence of your booking will be required for collection)

Stabling may be used for a competing horse/pony UNDER THE CONTROL OF THE BOOKING PARTY ONLY. Where a booking is made and there is no corresponding class entry at midnight of the day seven days prior to first day of the show, that stable shall be deemed to be cancelled after stabling refund cut off, it will not be made available to the booking party and no refund shall be payable.

PRIVATE TRANSFER OF STABLING IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN AND NEITHER THE TRANSFEREE NOR TRANSFEROR WILL BE ADMITTED

Prize Information

FOR ALL CLASSES  IN THE EVENT OF INSUFFICIENT ENTRIES LOWER PRIZES WILL BE WITHHELD - rule 76.6

Prize giving format will be advised at the event/or on drawn order publication.

Results will be published on the website on the day and (technology willing) should be visible on the BS Live Results feed, but will be subject to British Showjumping show office verification..

Prize money will be paid via a refund against your booking (or bookings) on the online payment platform, returning to your original payment means. These payments will be issued within 14 days of the last day of the event, per BS rules. Please note that due to limitations of the system, you may receive more than one part payment totalling the amount due. The online payment processing platform takes 0-5 days from our issue to deliver to your original payment account. Paypal (as our online payments processors) will send an email to the address you have entered into the system on each issue made,  indicating their likely delivery date/time.

Where your winnings exceed the value of your online booking transactions made/not refunded over the past 180 days,  THEN AND THEN ONLY we will request your bank information and pay by bank transfer. To protect your security, we will only ask for bank information when unavoidable and only when we are ready to make the payment, so that no recording of the data is required. Please DO NOT send bank information unless and until asked. As we have no means of verifying its source, any data which has not been requested will be ignored and deleted. We will make our request when necessary by email from our prime email address and with verification data from the original booking included.

Refreshments:

Refreshments comprised hot and cold meals, drinks, snacks etc. will be available.  Licensed cafe open very early, starting with breakfast, every day.

 

 

Withdrawals/Refunds

CANCELLATION RULES 

Cancellation of any booking MUST be notified by email from the booking party email address to office@southviewarena.com and an email response will be sent to confirm receipt - make sure this response is received and please retain it so that you can evidence when your cancellation request was both sent and received.

 Refund entitlement or otherwise is on THE BASIS OF DATE/TIME OF NOTIFICATION ONLY. We do NOT need to be advised of your reason for any cancellation and vet's / doctor's letters are NOT relevent and are NOT required accordingly.

REFUND OF ENTRY AND FIRST AID SUMS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

Cancellation of entries correctly notified by email up until MIDNIGHT OF WEDNESDAY 23RD OCTOBER (MIDNIGHT OF THE DAY SEVEN DAYS PRIOR TO THE FIRST DAY OF THE EVENT),  a refund is paid minus the following: any late entry or manual booking fees paid; the online booking system provider's fee; the payment processing provider's fee; a £5 cancellation administration charge which is applicable per separate booking transaction to be cancelled, or per separate cancellation request made.

From MIDNIGHT OF WEDNESDAY 23RD OCTOBER UNTIL NOON OF MONDAY 28TH OCTOBER (NOON OF THE DAY TWO DAYS PRIOR TO THE FIRST DAY OF THE EVENT), refund value will be 50% of the class entry fees and first aid levy.

For cancellation of entries/first aid fee notified after NOON OF MONDAY 28TH OCTOBER (NOON OF THE DAY TWO DAYS PRIOR TO THE FIRST DAY OF THE EVENT), NO REFUND NOR 'CARRY FORWARD' NOR TRANSFER TO ANOTHER EVENT IS POSSIBLE.

REFUND OF HAYLAGE AND BEDDING - Cancellation of haylage and bedding correctly notified by email up until NOON OF MONDAY 28TH OCTOBER (NOON OF THE DAY TWO DAYS BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF THE EVENT),  a refund is paid minus the following: any late entry or manual booking fees paid; the payment processing provider's fee; a £5 cancellation administration charge which is applicable per separate booking transaction to be actioned, or per separate cancellation request made. NO REFUND WILL BE PAYABLE FOR HAYLAGE/BEDDING CANCELLED LATER THAN NOON OF THE DAY TWO DAYS PRIOR THE FIRST DAY OF THE EVENT.

From MIDNIGHT OF SUNDAY 20TH OCTOBER NO REFUND NOR 'CARRY FORWARD' NOR TRANSFER OF STABLE OR HOOKUP BOOKINGS TO ANOTHER EVENT IS POSSIBLE.

STABLES BOOKED FOR A PONY FOR WHICH THERE IS NO CLASS ENTRY AT MIDNIGHT OF FRIDAY 25th OCTOBER WILL BE DEEMED A LATE CANCELLATION AND  THE STABLE WILL NOT BE ALLOCATED - NO REFUND WILL BE PAYABLE.

PRIVATE TRANSFER OR SALE OF STABLING TO ANOTHER PARTY (NOT ON THE ACCOUNT OF AND TRAVELLING WITH/THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ORIGINAL BOOKING PARTY) IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. THIS POLICY IS FOR NUMEROUS HEALTH AND SAFETY AND SECURITY REASONS, THEREFORE ANYONE INVOLVED IN A PRIVATE TRANSFER/SALE OF STABLING (I.E. THE TRANSFEREE AND TRANSFEROR, IF STILL ATTENDING) WILL NOT BE ADMITTED OR, WHEN SUBSEQUENTLY IDENTIFIED POST ADMITTANCE, WILL BE REQUIRED TO LEAVE THE SHOWGROUND AND NO REFUNDS WILL BE PAYABLE. 

 

ASSOCIATED WITH THIS POLICY, **DO NOT BOOK STABLES FOR OTHERS**. IF YOU WISH TO BE STABLED NEAR A FRIEND, ALL PARTIES PLEASE REQUEST ACCORDINGLY IN THE 'STABLE NOTES' FACILITY ON THE BOOKING SYSTEM, MAKING SURE IT IS THE BOOKING SURNAMES THAT ARE STATED. (Allocation of stabling will then be on the basis of the latest booking made in the group.)

 

Refunds for cancellation, where due, will be actioned asap and we endeavour to complete within  28 days of the last day of the event. Please note that the online payment processing platform takes 0-5 days from our issue to deliver to your original payment account.

 

SouthView may attempt to resell, or may dismantle, cancelled or no-entry-received stabling at their own discretion and this does not affect refund entitlements in any way.

For cancellation of entries/first aid fee notified after NOON OF MONDAY 28TH OCTOBER (NOON OF THE DAY TWO DAYS PRIOR TO THE FIRST DAY OF THE EVENT), NO REFUND NOR 'CARRY FORWARD' NOR TRANSFER TO ANOTHER EVENT IS POSSIBLE.

REFUND OF HAYLAGE AND BEDDING - Cancellation of haylage and bedding correctly notified by email up until NOON OF MONDAY 28TH OCTOBER (NOON OF THE DAY TWO DAYS BEFORE THE FIRST DAY OF THE EVENT),  a refund is paid minus the following: any late entry or manual booking fees paid; the payment processing provider's fee; a £5 cancellation administration charge which is applicable per separate booking transaction to be actioned, or per separate cancellation request made. NO REFUND WILL BE PAYABLE FOR HAYLAGE/BEDDING CANCELLED LATER THAN NOON OF THE DAY TWO DAYS PRIOR THE FIRST DAY OF THE EVENT.

From MIDNIGHT OF SUNDAY 20TH OCTOBER NO REFUND NOR 'CARRY FORWARD' NOR TRANSFER OF STABLE OR HOOKUP BOOKINGS TO ANOTHER EVENT IS POSSIBLE.

STABLES BOOKED FOR A PONY FOR WHICH THERE IS NO CLASS ENTRY AT MIDNIGHT OF FRIDAY 25th OCTOBER WILL BE DEEMED A LATE CANCELLATION AND  THE STABLE WILL NOT BE ALLOCATED - NO REFUND WILL BE PAYABLE.

PRIVATE TRANSFER OR SALE OF STABLING TO ANOTHER PARTY (NOT ON THE ACCOUNT OF AND TRAVELLING WITH/THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE ORIGINAL BOOKING PARTY) IS STRICTLY FORBIDDEN. THIS POLICY IS FOR NUMEROUS HEALTH AND SAFETY AND SECURITY REASONS, THEREFORE ANYONE INVOLVED IN A PRIVATE TRANSFER/SALE OF STABLING (I.E. THE TRANSFEREE AND TRANSFEROR, IF STILL ATTENDING) WILL NOT BE ADMITTED OR, WHEN SUBSEQUENTLY IDENTIFIED POST ADMITTANCE, WILL BE REQUIRED TO LEAVE THE SHOWGROUND AND NO REFUNDS WILL BE PAYABLE. 

 

ASSOCIATED WITH THIS POLICY, **DO NOT BOOK STABLES FOR OTHERS**. IF YOU WISH TO BE STABLED NEAR A FRIEND, ALL PARTIES PLEASE REQUEST ACCORDINGLY IN THE 'STABLE NOTES' FACILITY ON THE BOOKING SYSTEM, MAKING SURE IT IS THE BOOKING SURNAMES THAT ARE STATED. (Allocation of stabling will then be on the basis of the latest booking made in the group.)

 

Refunds for cancellation, where due, will be actioned asap and we endeavour to complete within  28 days of the last day of the event. Please note that the online payment processing platform takes 0-5 days from our issue to deliver to your original payment account.

 

SouthView may attempt to resell, or may dismantle, cancelled or no-entry-received stabling at their own discretion and this does not affect refund entitlements in any way.  

 
Prize payments will be issued within 14 days of the LAST DAY of the event. The payment platform will send an email to the email address provided on booking to advise of issue and may then take 0-5 days to deliver to your original paying account. PLEASE NOTE THAT FAILURE TO PAY ANY ACCOUNT INCURRED AT THE EVENT MAY DELAY YOUR PRIZE PAYMENT.
