Show information Dressage & Showjumping competition using Pony Club & British Dressage tests to provide an opportunity to practice ahead of the Pony Club Area competition - PC Members Only Dressage phases will run indoors with warm up in small outdoor arena. Commanders are allowed in all classes. Details of PC dressage tests can be found at Dressage Tests (pcuk.org) Showjumping phases will run outdoors built to Pony Club SJ standards by BS course designer. Warm up will be at the end of the large outdoor arena. Change to Dressage Classes Class 3: Foundation PC70 Dressage Test 2026 Class 4: Grassroots PC80 Dressage Test 2026 Class 5: Novice PC90 Dressage Test 2026 Event Competition Rules To ensure fair competition, please enter classes according to your level of training. The organisers reserve the right to return an entry, less admin fee, if the rider/pony/horse are considered unsuitable or over-qualified for the class entered. Riders must comply with PC Dressage Rules 2026 and PC Showjumping Rules 2026 including hats and body protectors. BS compliant padded "bat" whip only allowed for showjumping. Schooling whip allowed for dressage Horses / ponies must be correctly vaccinated for equine influenza in the last 12 months and not renewed within the preceding 7 days of the competition. Please remember to bring equine passports as there may be spot checks.
All horses/ponies must be 5 yrs old or over on the day of the event. PDG Photography will be in attendance on the day
Payment Details & Event Fees
All entries in advance via My Riding Life only. Payment is secure and goes direct to Eridge Pony Club. You will receive an email confirmation of your booking and payment. Dressage & SJ classes £18.00 each. Class 1 & Class 7 £15.00 each Clear round will be run at the end of each class time permitting @ £10.00 per round

The Golden Cross cafe will be open for a range of hot and cold food and drinks
Refunds for withdrawals after the closing date will only be given on receipt of a valid Veterinary or Doctor's Certificate dated within 14 days of the competition date In the event of cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control £3 per competitor will be withheld to cover costs.
- The judge’s decision is final. Objections accompanied by a deposit of £50 must be made in writing to the Secretary within 15 minutes of the incident. The deposit will be forfeited if the objection is sustained.
- All dressage classes will be run in accordance with the Pony Club Dressage Rules Book 2026 and showjumping classes in accordance the Pony Club Showjumping Rules Book 2026
- Correct dress to be worn.
- Hats to be of the standard accepted as of 1 January 2026. (Please see Pony Club rule books if unsure - pcuk.org/officials/rulebooks/). No pom poms on hat silks. Chin strap must be fastened at all times when mounted. Hats must be tagged by your own Pony Club (pink tag). These will be checked before competing.
- Spurs will only be allowed if you have a yellow tag on your hat.
- Body protectors advisable. Please see the current hat/body protector rules on the Pony Club website—www.pcuk.org.
- No boots or bandages for dressage tests. Tests to be ridden in snaffle bridles only.
- Whips of any length may be carried for dressage. SJ whips must be “padded” and comply with the current British Showjumping rule
- Numnahs/saddle cloths must be white, cream, navy, brown or black with any piping in the same colour
- No telephone entries
- No entries will be refunded except on the production of vet’s or doctor’s certificate, in which case the entry may be refunded less £3 admin fee.
- In the case of cancellation, entries will be refunded less a £3 admin fee.
- The organisers reserve the right to cancel and alter classes, refuse entries without explanation and to disqualify competitors.
- Please leave your dogs at home
- Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of any event to which these rules apply, nor the pony club, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.
- All horses/ponies must be 5 yrs old or over on the day of the event.
- Horses/ponies must not be tied up outside boxes/trailers and left unattended at any time.
- Please clear up all droppings, hay and litter and take it home with you.
Health & Safety Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards.
