CONDITIONS OF ENTRY:
1. Legal Liability - Save for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Organisers or anyone for whom they are in law responsible neither the Organisers of this event or the Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any way whatsoever.
2. Health and Safety & Welfare – the Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organiser and all Officials and Stewards.
3. Safety Rules - Failure to comply with safety rules will result in elimination
4. Photography- By entry to this competition competitors agree to being photographed by the Official Photographer. Unless otherwise indicated, competitors and their parents/guardians have given permission for any photographic and/or video footage taken of persons or horses/ponies taking part at a BEDE Event with Pony Club to be used and published in any media whatsoever for editorial purposes, press information or advertising by or on behalf of BEDE Events, The Pony Club and/or Official Sponsors of The Pony Club.
5. The organisers reserve the right to alter, amend or cancel any class and to refuse any entry for any reason and at their sole discretion.
6. The Judges’ decisions are final.
7. All classes will be run in accordance with Pony Club Show Jumping rules 2026, except where specifically varied below.
8. Hats of all competitors, must be tagged with a pink Pony Club tag, pink British Riding Club or pink British Eventing tag to confirm that it complies with the following standard. It must bear the CE Mark AND a quality symbol: PAS 015:1998 or 2011; Snell E2001 with the official Snell label and number; ASTM F1163 2004a with the SEI kitemark; AS/NZS 3838 1998, 2003 or 2006. They must be worn with chin strap fastened at all times when mounted, with plain black or dark blue covers only. A competitor whose hat comes off his/her head whilst riding in a competition must, on penalty of elimination, replace it before continuing.
9. Vaccinations As per the Pony Club Vaccination rule 2026 Two injections for primary vaccination, not less than 21 days and not more than 92 days apart, are required before being eligible to compete;
· A first booster injection must be given within seven months after the second injection of primary vaccination;
· Subsequent booster injections must be given at intervals of not more than one year, commencing after the first booster injection;
· The most recent booster injection must have been given within the twelve calendar months and 21 days prior to the horse arriving at the competition. A horse may not compete if it has been given an injection on any of the 7 days before the event.
10. Reasonable Adjustment - At The Pony Club, we are committed to ensuring equality of opportunity for all members, parents, volunteers, officials and stakeholders irrespective of age, gender reassignment, disability, race or ethnicity. Reasonable Adjustment can be requested by following the process outlined in the Reasonable Adjustment Policy
11. Objections may only be made by team managers and must be submitted to the Secretary in writing within 15 minutes of the completion of the class, accompanied by a deposit of £10.
12. Rosettes to sixth place. The top 3 pairs will collect their rosettes at the prize giving, pairs placed in 4th – 6th can collect from the Stable Managers Office 20mins after the completion of the event
13. Each pair will be responsible for the arena party pole picking whilst jumping.
14. There are no cars permitted in the lorry park. Cars will be required to park in the event car parks which are a distance away from the Show Jumping ring, it is advised to book a parking ticket in advance as tickets will be limited on the day.
