Cross Pole Jumping (0.40m)

Class 3
Ride & Run (0.50m - 0.60m)

Race and Ride. Riders will complete a short obstacle course on foot with their horse or pony being held in a start box. The obstacle course will be timed with a clear finish. The clock will then stop for riders to mount their horse or pony safely and they will then complete a timed course of jumps between 50cm and 60cm. Times over both parts of the course will then be added together to decide the winner, completing the course in the fastest time. 4 seconds will be added for a fence / obstacle fault. The clock will continue to run for refusals. Elimination will apply after 2 refusals. Competitors must not have won or been placed at 80cm or above to be eligible for this class. Rosettes 1st – 6th with winners sash plus prizes in kind. Cash and prizes in kind will also be awarded to the competitor with the judges favourite fancy dress. Accumulator with Joker (0.60m - 0.75m)

Ranging in height from 60 – 75cm with a joker fence. Competitors will complete the course accumulating points for each fence cleared with bonus points awarded for clearing the joker fence. Points will be deducted for fences down and no points will be awarded for that particular fence in the event of a refusal. Prizes will be awarded to those on the highest / maximum score with the fastest time. . Rosettes 1st – 6th with winners sash and prizes in kind. Please enter at your chosen height (60cm / 70cm / 80cm or 90cm). All 60cm riders will jump first, followed by 70cm riders etc. Each team will have one rider at each height. Each round will be run as single phase whereby faults and time will decide the results and each team will drop one score. Faults and times for each team will be added together for the final results. The secretary will decide the teams and draws will be available the night before the event. This class is limited to just 8 x Teams so please be aware the class will close when full at each height. WINNERS RUGS supplied by rug up now will be awarded to the winning team, plus winners sashes and rosettes 1st - 6th along with prizes in kind. Terms & Conditions
Please remember, this show is organised and run by volunteers on behalf of Claremont School. We are here to help and support you and try to ensure that competitors are safe and have FUN, whether you are 4 or 84 we want this to be a great day out for you to enjoy your horses. Outside assistance is not permitted but cheering and encouragement for all competitors is mandatory. This show should be exactly as advertised, no pressure and FUN. Please try to remember that and encourage all competitors. We have tried to supply high class rosettes and sashes along with prizes in kind and even rugs to our prize winners, please do remember to tag and thank sponsors and our school on any social media if possible. PDG Event Photography will be in attendance and will be sure to capture those perfect images so please keep an eye on their website after the event. Christmas jumpers / fancy dress is permitted / encouraged but WILL NOT be judged in a stand alone class, prizes in kind as well as cash bonus have kindly been donated by Maria Green, the schools team trainer and she will be awarding these in each jumping class. By agreeing to these terms and conditions you are acknowledging that images / video will be taken on the day and ,may be used for advertisement by our school. Should you NOT wish for any images to be taken, please make it known to the secretary on the day.

1. All jumping classes will be judged under BS rules. 2. Riding hats that comply with the current BS safety standards must be worn at all times whilst mounted on the showground. 3. No horses to be schooled or lunged in the car park or any other areas, 4. The designated ‘warm up’ arena is the only area to be used to ‘warm up’ horses/ponies. It is not permitted in the showground or car park for safety reasons. The indoor arena is the designated warm up with the next 8 x competitors being permitted in there, for flat warm up prior to entry, competitors may use the outdoor warm up arena by the main gate. 5. Horses or ponies should never be left unattended tied to a lorry or trailer. 6. The organisers reserve the right to unconditionally disqualify and/or ban riders who display an excessive use of whips and/or spurs or those who use bad language or behave in a unsporting manner. 7. Anyone seen riding/handling in a manner likely to endanger themselves, their horse or any other parties will be asked to leave the showground for safety reasons. 8. The Judges’ decision is always final. 9. Dogs must be kept on leads and under strict control at all times. Owners are responsible for clearing up after their dogs. 10. All entries/competitors and spectators must comply at all times with Health and Safety notices/rules or instructions given by the show centre and event organisers. 11. No persons shall allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible as owner, authorised agent or rider to compete or be prepared to compete, in any show jumping competition without taking adequate precaution to ensure other competitors and members of the public are not at risk of injury. 12. The organiser and/or its Employees accept no responsibility for any accidents or injury to competitors, onlookers, horses or property. Riding is a high risk sport and is undertaken at your own risk. 13. Practice fences will be flagged and must be jumped in the correct direction. RED ON THE RIGHT 14. Horses/ponies must be over the age of 4 to compete in any classes. 15. The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry or make changes to a class without stating a reason. 16. No entries or arena hires can be refunded unless either a medical or veterinary certificate is produced. 17. No mucking out of horse boxes/trailers on the showground. 18. All stallions and colts are to wear a bridle and bit at all times., 19. Red ribbon is to be worn on the tail of every colt and stallion or any horse that is known to kick whilst on the showground. 20. Encourage all and cheer as much as you can!!!
