Focus for this Day Camp will be test riding with focus on the scales of training.
This Dressage Performance training clinic brings together the focus of preparing for riding a successful dressage test, with performance enhancing training including understanding your own test riding skils, mindset management and mental preparation
This full day clinic includes ridden and dismounted elements and is sure to leave your feeling ready to bring your best to your next competition and enhance your ongoing training and focus at home.
Test riding in the morning with the option of:

Ahead of the training day Ruth and I are offering a zoom session to help you get the most from your day. This will be recorded so if you can't make the time then we will share this on email with you.
Morning session will include
- Test riding with warm up, ride through the test of your choice from the list, and feedback as a group by level of test
- Observe and write with Ruth to view the tests from a judges persepctive and develop your understanding of how the scales of training can be seen from the ground
- Video feedback session with Steph with your tests and video of your Test ride to build constructive analysis skills to take forward to imporve your training and performance
Afternoon sessions:
- Re ride your test putting into place 1 or 2 learnings from the morning to allow you to build your partnership and focus and find improvements
- Optional dismounted rider off horse session or watch the tests as cheer each other on
We will also have Johnathan from Animals First along to speak with you about nutrition for your horses and the great quality feed they offer,

Riders: Max 13 participants - 9 ridden spaced, 4 non ridden
Format: 2 Ridden Sessions + Mindset & Performance Session + Test writing and observation from a judges perspective
Ridden spaces £120.00
Non ridden Spaces £55.00
Non ridden participants will have the chance to complete some test writing and gain knowledge from the ground from observing and feeding back on the ridden sessions, with full participation in all of the off horse dismounted elements.
Both attendance options give fantastic value.
Day stable are available at an additional fee that is payable directly to Topthorn of £25.00
