THIS EVENT IS BEING RUN UNDER BRITISH RIDING CLUB RULES 2025
For Winter qualifiers and onwards, BRC has introduced a ‘competition pass’ which takes the place of
Pre Entries. To compete and qualify for BRC championships, all entrants must have a valid club
membership AND a valid competition pass, which can be purchased via the BRC Sport80 portal. Any
member competing at a qualifier without both club membership and a competition pass will be
disqualified.
Late entries cannot be guaranteed therefore must not be paid for until approval from the organiser has been sort.
All hats must have a visible PINK BRC hat tag in place before they are used for warming up and competing, to show that it meets the current safety standards. There will be a trained official available on the day to do this for you if your hat does not currently have one.
Your horse must have up to date influenza vaccinations in line with the current BRC Rulebook. There is also a checking device on the BRC website.
ADDITIONAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
● The judges/stewards should be treated with respect and their decisions are final. Anyone found to be rude or
disrespectful to any official will be asked to leave the venue.
● No refunds will be made without a vet/doctor certificate, no refunds after close of entries.
● MMRC, the BHS, BRC and the land owners will not be held responsible for any loss, injury or accident to person,
animal or property.
● Dogs must be on leads at all times and all fouling must be removed.
● The judge’s decision and that of the BRC Official Steward is final. Any objections must be made in accordance
with BRC rule G14l.

● On the day, Secretary and area 5 officials will be based in the Equine Reception room.
● Riders will not be admitted to the working-in arena without hats that are checked and tagged by the stewards.
● There are toilets located in the courtyard area by the lower car park.

HORSES
● NO HORSES TO BE TIED TO TRAILERS OR LORRIES UNLESS SUPERVISED. Horses that are known to get distressed when left in trailers/lorries MUST BE SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES
● Day stables available on request £15 per box -arranged through the secretary
● NO hay nets to be tied outside of trailers or horseboxes.
● Please pick up any droppings your horse may leave behind tools and skip bucket can be found by the arena gate/doors.
