QUALIFIERS FOR JUNIOR AND SENIOR MEMBERS OF AFFILIATED RIDING CLUBS IN AREA 5.

COMBINATIONS may jump in up to two consecutive classes as part of a team, or as an individual, 70 & 80cm, 80 & 90cm, 90 & 100cm.

SJ FORMAT: Riders jump two rounds. Riders will jump the first round and then a second round. The second round will be in two parts, the first part of the course will be the second round, followed by the second part of the course which will be classed as the jump-off. All competitors will go straight onto the jump-off without stopping. All team and individual members will go forward to the second part of the second round (jump-off) unless eliminated. The first-round score and the second-round score will be combined to gain the total score. The jump-off section will only be used where there are ties for equality. The second round will be scored as two parts, so for example a rider who goes clear in the first part, then accrues four faults in the second part (jump-off) will be placed above a rider who accrued four faults in the first part, regardless of times or faults recorded in the second part of the round

For Winter qualifiers and onwards, BRC has introduced a ‘competition pass’ which takes the place of Pre Entries. To compete and qualify for BRC championships, all entrants must have a valid club membership AND a valid competition pass, which can be purchased via the BRC Sport80 portal. Any member competing at a qualifier without both club membership and a competition pass will be disqualified.
