Numbers – Please download your paper number from www.ponyclubresults.co.uk – and don’t forget you will need to bring your own number bibs.

Individual rosettes to 6th place in each class and to 6th place in the Team Classes

Withdrawals/Refunds
Withdrawals: In the unfortunate event of a withdrawal please alert the secretary by 9am on Wednesday 22nd October 2025 – we regret no refunds or transfers will be made after the close of entries, this rule will be strictly adhered to.

Terms & Conditions
SRC General Rules HATS must be worn whenever mounted and up to the current safety standard. ONLY Jockey skull hats without a peak (greater than 5mm smooth and rounded in nature) may be worn for cross country. Hat silks may be worn with flexible peak. It must also comply with safety standards for hats. BODY PROTECTORS A body protector is obligatory for all arena eventing and cross-country events and are also strongly recommended for all show jumping events. Body protectors should be fitted and worn as per the manufacturer’s instructions. If a rider chooses to wear an airbag style body protector it must be worn over a permitted body protector and if activated, must be deflated or removed before continuing. Hybrid Air jackets and Helite Air Jackets are permitted. It is recommended that body protectors are replaced once they are more than 5 years old. Riders wearing Exo Body Cage protectors must inform the secretary at all events. CORRECT dress & footwear with defined heels must be worn. ALL horses and ponies must be four years old and over. ALL Riders to be 4 years old and over. ENTRIES accepted at rider’s risk. SRC reserve the right to refuse an entry at their discretion, cancel, amend or amalgamate any class for any reason whatsoever. The Judge’s decision is final. INSURANCE Each competitor must carry their own liability insurance whether Riding Club, Pony Club, BHS, BS, BD, BE or independent cover. HEALTH & SAFETY The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards. Those attending this event must report any accidents to the secretary or organizer of the event Please do not leave unattended horses tied to lorries and no hay nets to be tied to the outside of lorries or trailers. Solihull Riding Club welcomes responsible dog owners. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY save for the death or injury caused by the negligence of the organisers of the event, no liability is accepted for any accident, loss or damage, injury or illness to horses, ponies, owners, riders, spectators, vehicles their contents and accessories, or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any way whatsoever All Classes will be run in accordance with The Pony Club Spring Festival Arena Eventing Rules 2025. This is an Area Qualifier for the Barrier Spring Festival on 28th-30th March 2026 at Addington Equestrian. Team Competition – Branches/Centres may enter a team of three members in each class of the Area Qualifier competition. The team members must compete in the same level of competition. The team must comprise of three members and all three scores count. Riders cannot compete in more than two classes on the day. Horses/Ponies cannot compete more than once in each class or in more than two classes on the day. A Rider can compete on three horses/ponies in this area competition but only two at the Championships if qualified. Entries online only via www.solihullridingclub.co.uk/events Legal Liability: Neither the organisers, nor persons acting on their behalf, accept any liability for loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to competitors, spectators or any person or property whatsoever. Health and Safety: The organisers of the event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure Health & Safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents from occurring and must obey the Instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards. RULES AND REGULATIONS 1. Competitors will jump a course of show jumps immediately followed by a course of cross-country style fences some of which may have a knock down top rail. The winner will be the individual with the lowest number of penalties and in the event of a tie, the one closest to the optimum time. Area Competitions may include a joker show jump fence to finish the course if they wish. 2. Cross Country compliant XC kit and saddlery should be worn. The Pony Club Saddlery and Dress rules apply at all Area Competitions and the Championships. No jewellery is allowed. 3. Body protectors and hats are compulsory for this competition and must meet the Pony Club standards for 2024. 4. Horses and ponies must be 5-years old and over. 5. Items of tack and saddlery must comply with Pony Club regulations. No rider may carry or use a whip greater than 75cm or less than 45cm in length overall. 6. Stop Watches are not permitted. 7. Objections must be made to the Secretary within 5 minutes of the end of the class with a £20 deposit. 8. No lunging in the warm up area. 9. At the competition horse/pony may ONLY be ridden by the rider who is competing at the competition. 10. No refunds after the closing date unless we can replace you off the waitlist. A proportion of the entry fee will only be refunded if a vet’s or doctor’s certificate is produced. 11. The Organiser may, at her discretion, alter the schedule/rules/running order as required. 12. The Judge’s decision is final. 13. It is your responsibility as a Parent to have familiarised yourself with the current Pony Club Rulebook(s) before the competition. 14. By entering you are agreeing to our terms and conditions. Failure to do so will result in Elimination. Passing Down the Qualification: On the Day – If a competitor is unable to go to the final then the qualifying places will be passed down the line. Please ensure every competitor confirms to the organiser/steward that they are intending to enter the final. After the Area Qualifier – If a competitor is unable to go to the final, they musty notify The Pony Club Office as soon as possible so that their qualifying place can be passed down the line. This will only be done up until five days prior to the final. Saddlery & Dress: At Area Competitions and the Championships, The Pony Club Saddlery and Dress Rules apply. Substitutions: Substitutions of horse/pony or rider WILL NOT be accepted at Area Competitions or at the Championships. Important Information: Multiple Horses – competitors may ride a maximum of three horses at the Area Competition and two horses at the Championships in any one class. In the event of a rider qualifying more than two horses for the Championships, they must nominate which two they will take at the Area Competition. The other qualifying place will be passed down the line. Multiple Riders – horses may only be ridden by one rider at Area Competitions and the Championships. Multiple Levels – subject to eligibility, riders may qualify for both the Novice and Intermediate Championships OR the Intermediate and Open Championships but cannot ride the same horse at both levels. If a combination qualifies for more than one level for the Championships (either as part of a team or as an individual), they must take the higher level forward, i.e., if they qualify for both the Novice and Intermediate Championships, they must take the Intermediate place and pass the Novice place down the line.
