Junior Winter Intermediate Team and Individual Dressage Qualifier Open to Junior members of an affiliated Riding Club that have paid their membership for the current year. Junior Novice Winter Dressage, for teams of 4 riders, with 3 scores to count and for individuals (all team members are automatically entered in the individual competition). One rider will ride either BD Intro 3 (2024) BD Prelim 1 (2024), BD Prelim 2 (2024), BD Novice 1 (2024) See eligibility rules below.

For Winter qualifiers and onwards, BRC has introduced a ‘competition pass’ which takes the place of Pre Entries. To compete and qualify for BRC championships, all entrants must have a valid club membership AND a valid competition pass, which can be purchased via the BRC Sport80 portal. Any member competing at a qualifier without both club membership and a competition pass will be disqualified.
Payment Details & Event Fees
Entry Fee: £17 per individual. Entries for all classes close prompt at 6pm on Sunday 28th September 2025 Please also email a copy of your proposed entries to valeriemalka@yahoo.co.uk no later than Monday 29th September 9am. All entrants must submit a pre-entry to BRC (fees can be found in the current BRC Handbook) at least 21 days before the date of the qualifier. Pre-entries must be made via the pre-entry website: https://brc.bhs.org.uk/login?referral=%2Fselect . Late pre-entries may be accepted at the discretion of the organise. Please state clearly on your online entry the CLUB AND TEAM NAME YOU ARE COMPETING FOR Eligibility for all classes can be found in the current BRC Handbook (page 86). All entries to be made ONLINE via the Solihull RC website. PLEASE NOTE ALL HORSES MUST BE MICROCHIPPED All HORSES MUST HAVE HAD A FLU VACCINATION WITHIN ONE YEAR OF THE COMPETITION AND NOT WITHIN THE 7 DAYS PRIOR TO THE EVENT. Rosettes to 6th in all classes – Please bring or post an A5 SAE with a “large” stamp if you will not be here at the end of the class.
This is a qualifier for the SEIB British Riding Clubs Winter dressage championships to be held at Arena UK, Allington Lane, Allington, Grantham, NG32 2EF on 24TH – 26TH April 2026 This competition will run under BRC Rules, anyone in attendance will be bound by the BRC Code of Conduct. All competitors must be a BRC member and be on the BRC Database by midday the Friday before the qualifier. Anyone failing to meet the eligibility criteria will be disqualified and informed by BRC HQ when the results are processed. HATS must be worn whenever mounted. All hats must have a visible PINK BRC / PC / BE hat tag in place before they are used for warming up and competing. CORRECT dress & footwear with defined heels must be worn. ALL horses and ponies must be four years old and over. ENTRIES accepted at rider’s risk. SRC reserve the right to refuse an entry at their discretion, cancel, amend or amalgamate any class for any reason whatsoever. The Judge’s decision is final. INSURANCE Each competitor must carry their own liability insurance whether Riding Club, Pony Club, BHS, BS, BD, BE or independent cover.
HEALTH & SAFETY The organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the organisers and all the officials and stewards. Those attending this event must report any accidents to the secretary or organizer of the event Please do not leave unattended horses tied to lorries and no hay nets to be tied to the outside of lorries or trailers. Solihull Riding Club welcomes responsible dog owners. Dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times.
