Trailblazers Second Round – Qualification Information

The following outlines how qualification for the Trailblazers Championships works at this event:

Qualification to Championships

• At the Second Round, the top 8 Senior and top 8 Junior riders in each class will qualify for the Trailblazers Championships.

• Qualification is based on placing only, regardless of whether the rider originally intended to qualify.

Standard Qualification Process

• Riders should have:

  • Submitted their First Round qualification card

  • Received their Second Round qualification form

  • Brought this form with them to the event

• If the form is presented on the day:

  • The organiser will confirm qualification, including placing and percentage

  • The rider must then email a copy of the completed form to Trailblazers

If the Rider Does Not Have Their Second Round Form

• Riders may still qualify by finishing in the top 8

• They must then contact Trailblazers directly, providing evidence of their result

• Official results from the event will be used to verify qualification

If the Rider Has Not Submitted Their First Round Card

• Riders may still compete in the Second Round

• If they qualify:

  • The organiser will sign the back of the First Round card, including placing and percentage

  • The rider is responsible for sending the card to Trailblazers

Qualifying First and Second Round on the Same Day

• Where two classes at the same level are scheduled:

  • The first class acts as the First Round qualifier

  • The second class is the Second Round

• Riders who:

  • Achieve 58% or higher in the First Round class, and

  • Purchase a qualification card

• may then compete in the Second Round class on the same day

• If they place in the top 8, they will qualify for the Championships

Results

• Event organisers will retain and share results with Trailblazers

• Riders remain responsible for ensuring all relevant forms and cards are submitted

Pavilion cafe will be open for drinks, toasties, bacon baps etc
