For registered ponies not exceeding 138cms, to be ridden by Junior Members, ages in accordance with Rule 77.12 & 77.13. This competition is open to all but for qualification purposes:
• In the 128cms section, Junior riders are eligible to enter, irrespective of points achieved, before the calendar year in which the age of 10 years is reached. Riders who reach the age of 10 years and over in the current calendar year must not have won a total of 500 points. (as of 01.08.2017 pony/rider combination).
• In the 138cms section, Junior riders are eligible to enter, irrespective of points achieved, before the calendar year in which the age of 12 is reached. Riders who reach the age 12 years and over in the current calendar year must not have won a total of 850 points. (as of 01.08.2017 pony/rider combination). Junior Riders are not eligible to enter the 138cms section until the calendar year in which their 8th birthday is reached. Ponies 128cm & under are not permitted to enter the 138cm section.
Once riders have competed at, or have ‘ever’ qualified for RIHS or HOYS on any height pony they are no longer eligible to compete in the Final.
Pony/rider combinations who have accrued points on the Pony Gold League are not eligible to compete in the final of this competition.
Qualifies for: Springboard Final.
Qualifying Period: 1st February -31st January.
Numbers to Qualify: Four double clears to qualify for the Final. Qualification is pony/rider combination. Ponies in the class must go into the jump-off and go clear to gain its double clear round qualification. In order to compete in the Final, all qualified competitors ages must be in accordance with the Rule 77.12 & 77.13 in the year of the Final.
No rider may compete more than three ponies in the same section.

(subject to revision). Dispensation will be given to run the Winter 128cms and Winter 138cms First Rounds as a
handicap competition. If run as a Handicap, pony riders will be given dispensation to ride up to three ponies in each
height section. This class will split in the event of 20 starters or more and two sets of prize money awarded. No rider
may ride more than three ponies in the same competition, in accordance with rule 77.6.

Ponies may compete in one section only. The 1.15m section incorporates the Pony National 1.15m Members Cup Qualifier. Rule 400, those pony/rider combinations that have been placed in a Winter JA Classic or Pony Show Jumper of the Year will not be eligible to compete in the Final at the British Showjumping National Championships in August. Qualifying period: 1 July - 30 June. Numbers to qualify: Two double clears to qualify. Qualification is pony/rider combination.The 1.20m section incorporates the 148cm Restricted Open Championship. Rule 399, riders who have ever been on a Pony European Championship team, Pony Nation Cups team or pony/rider combinations in the top 10 of the Gold league as of 31st March 2026 are not eligible to qualify for the Final. The Final will be at the Welsh Home Pony Show. Qualifying period: 1 July - 30 June. Numbers to qualify: Those combinations who jump double clear (clear in the first round and the first jump-off) (one double clear) in the qualifying period.Ponies can only jump one section.

Please refrain from using any other arenas of facilities onsite and stay off the grassy areas. Please tidy up after yourselves using the bins provided and clean up after your horse using the wheelbarrows provided. Do not leave horses unattended outside your box/trailer and no Haynets tied up to the outside of vehicles and this makes the carpark unnecessarily muddy and untidy over time. Any questions please talk to the stewards. First aid point is in the office by the toilet area.
Payment Details & Event Fees
Rosettes collected onsite. Any prize money refunded through Stripe.
Cafe will be open and serving refreshments.
NO REFUNDS AFTER THE FINAL CLOSING DATE (midday 48hrs before the show day) unless a doctors or vets note is provided. If those requirements are met the entry may be transferred to a future similar competition for £5.00 per entry. If you would like an entry to be replaced by another entry/rider after the closing date a £10.00 admin fee will occur. Withdrawals before the closing date can be refunded minus a £3.00 admin fee or transferred to a future show.
1. All competitors and their associates take full responsibility for their own health and safety on site and the actions and behavior of themselves and their horse(s). The organisers do not accept responsibility for any damages or accidents involving competitors or any of the competitor’s associates, vehicles or horses. 2. The organisers of these events have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the organisers / instructors. 3. Participants, or their parents/guardians if rider is under 18 years, must consider themselves competent to complete the activity for which they are entering. It is not the responsibility of the organisers to decide if a competitor is competent or their mount is suitable for the class. If the organiser deems any rider or horse to be unsuitable / unsafe to participate they will be asked to leave immediately and no refund will be given. 4. The organisers, their representatives or helpers do not accept liability for injury, damage or loss suffered by spectators, competitors, their horses, grooms, friends, vehicles or property however caused and under any circumstances. 5. No unauthorised instructors or persons allowed in the warm up or any outside assistance. 6. A correctly fitted riding hat complying with current safety standards, and safe footwear must be worn whilst mounted. Body protectors are strongly recommended for show jumping. 7. Horses must be 4 years old or over to be eligible to compete. Animals deemed to be sick or lame will not be allowed to compete or be ridden on site and a refund will not be given. Stallions are not eligible for these competitions unless by prior agreement. 8. We reserve the right to cancel or alter any part or the whole of the schedule at any time. 9. The judge’s decision is final. 10. A vet’s or doctor’s certificate may be required for a refund of entry fees. 11. In the event of a competition being cancelled, entry fees will be refunded in full. 12. It is the responsibility of all participants to clear up their horse dropping before leaving the site. 13. All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. Owners who allow their dogs to run loose will be required to leave the site immediately. 14. The organisers reserve the right to require anyone to leave the site without the need to give a reason. 15. Please pick up any droppings left in the car park and put them in the wheelbarrow provided. 16. ALL HORSES MUST HAVE HAD FLU VACCINATIONS WITHIN THE LAST 12 MONTHS, OWNERS MAY BE ASKED TO PROVIDE PROOF OF THIS ON THE DAY. No Haynets outside your lorry/trailer on the hard standing.
